WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:

A. Safety Precautions
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats.
(4) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the slat/flap control lever.
Subtask 28-25-48-865-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work on the fuel system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001). (2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats.
(4) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the slat/flap control lever.
B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position below the applicable zone 522, 622.
(2) Remove the applicable access panel:

A. Removal of the Refuel Light
(2) Remove the clamps (5) from the electrical cable (3).
(4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Remove the screws (9), ready-to-refuel light (8), green lens (11) and the clear lens (10) from the panel (2).
CAUTION:
HOLD THE LENSES IN POSITION WHEN YOU REMOVE THE ATTACHMENT SCREWS, OR THE LENSES CAN FALL OUT.
(1) Remove the nuts (6) and the bolts (7) from the clamps (5). (2) Remove the clamps (5) from the electrical cable (3).
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the receptacle. (4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Remove the screws (9), ready-to-refuel light (8), green lens (11) and the clear lens (10) from the panel (2).
