Subtask 28-25-45-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the center tank and the right wing tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001) are defueled.
(2) Make sure that the main door of the right main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001) is open.
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at zone 142.
(4) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at zone 640.
(5) Make sure that the manhole cover 148AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001) is removed.
(6) Make sure that the manhole cover 640AB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-001) is removed.
(7) Make sure that the surge door 640BZ is open.
(8) Make sure that the 98D57004014000 HOOK-COVER (RIB2-SURGE DOORS) (7) at the surge door is installed.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the center tank and the right wing tank are defueled (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2) Make sure that the main door of the right Main Landing Gear (MLG) is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below zone 142.
(4) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below access panel 640AB.
(5) Make sure that access cover 148AZ is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
(6) Make sure that access panel 640AB is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-001).
(7) Make sure that RIB2 access panel 640BZ is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-12-000-002).

4. Procedure
Subtask 28-25-45-640-050-A

A. Apply Turbine Fuel-- Kerosene - (Material No.01ABA1) to the new O-ring (4).

Subtask 28-25-45-420-050-A

B. Installation of the Center-Tank Pressure-Relief Valve (97QM)
(1) Install the AIPC 28-25-05-05-040 O-RING (4) or AIPC 28-25-85-05-040 O-RING (4) on the valve (2).
(2) Install the valve (2) on the bulkhead (1).

NOTE: The valve (2) has a centering lug for the correct installation.

(3) Install the new AIPC 28-25-05-05-030 WASHERS (5) or AIPC 28-25-85-05-020 WASHERS (5) the bolts (6) and the nuts (3).

5. Close-up
Subtask 28-25-45-210-050-A

A. Do a visual check of the center-tank pressure-relief valve (97QM) to make sure that the component is installed correctly.

Subtask 28-25-45-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that there are no unwanted objects and materials, tools or other equipment in the center tank and the right wing tank.
(2) Remove 98D57004014000 HOOK-COVER (RIB2-SURGE DOORS) (7) at the surge door.

Pressure Relief Valve of Center Tank ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(3) Close the surge door 640BZ.
(4) Install the manhole cover 640AB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-400-001).
(5) Install the manhole cover 148AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-400-001).
(6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
(8) Close the main door of the right main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).

Subtask 28-25-45-410-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install RIB2 access panel 640BZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-12-400-002).
(3) Install access panel 640AB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-400-001).
(4) Install access cover 148AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-400-001).
(5) Close the main door of the right MLG (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).

C. Refuel the center tank and the right wing tank (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-003).
