A. Defuel the center tank and the right wing tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).

B. Get Access
(1) Open the main door of the right main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE at zone 142.
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE at zone 640.
(4) Remove the manhole cover 148AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
(5) Remove the manhole cover 640AB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-001).
(6) Open the surge door 640BZ.
(7) Install the 98D57004014000 HOOK-COVER (RIB2-SURGE DOORS) (7) at the surge door.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the main door of the right Main Landing Gear (MLG) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position below zone 142.
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below access panel 640AB.
(4) Remove access cover 148AZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
(5) Remove access panel 640AB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-001).
(6) Remove RIB2 access panel 640BZ (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-12-000-002).

4. Procedure
Subtask 28-25-45-020-050-A

A. Removal of the Center Tank Pressure Relief Valve (97QM)
(1) Remove the nuts (3), the bolts (6) and remove and discard the washers (5).
(2) Remove the valve (2) and remove and discard the O-ring (4).
