A. Safety Precautions
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
Subtask 28-25-00-010-073-A WARNING:
OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work on the fuel system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001). (2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable refuel/defuel cap.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable refuel/defuel cap.
Subtask 28-25-00-040-052-C
A. Deactivation of the Refuel/Defuel Cap
(1) Release the refuel/defuel cap (4) from the refuel/defuel coupling.
(2) Examine the refuel/defuel coupling for fuel leaks. No leaks are permitted.
(3) Remove the screw (1) and the attachment lug (2).
(5) Write in the aircraft technical log that the cap (4) has been removed.
5. Close-up(1) Release the refuel/defuel cap (4) from the refuel/defuel coupling.
(2) Examine the refuel/defuel coupling for fuel leaks. No leaks are permitted.
(3) Remove the screw (1) and the attachment lug (2).
NOTE: The chain (3) is spring-loaded into a protection sleeve on the cap (4).
(4) Remove the refuel/defuel cap (4) and the chain (3) from the refuel/defuel coupling. (5) Write in the aircraft technical log that the cap (4) has been removed.

A. Removal of Equipment
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the safety barriers.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
