A. Safety Precautions
WARNING: OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
   (1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work on the fuel system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
   (2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
   (3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the slats.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Fully extend the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-004).
   (3) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is on the slat/flap control lever.
   (4) The LP fuel valve can be OPEN or CLOSED.
   (5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

D. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable zone 522(622).
   (2) Remove the applicable access panel 522AT(622AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-003):

     (a) FOR [9QG] (ACTUATOR-LP FUEL VALVE, ENG 1)
remove 522AT

     (b) FOR [10QG] (ACTUATOR-LP FUEL VALVE, ENG 2)
remove 622AT.
4. Procedure
Subtask 28-24-51-020-050-A
A. Removal of the LP Fuel Valve Actuator
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1).
   (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (3) Fully loosen the screw (7) and remove the V-clamp (3).
   (4) Remove the actuator (2) from the LP fuel valve (5) and discard the O-ring (4).
