A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the APU or bleed air.
(4) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the engines.
Subtask 28-24-00-010-057-A (1) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the APU or bleed air.

B. Get Access
(2) Remove the applicable access panel (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-003):
Subtask 28-24-00-865-071-A NOTE: It is necessary to listen to the LP valve actuator during the test that follows. If the actuator motor can be heard with the access panel in position, it is not necessary to remove it.

(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position below the applicable zone 520 or 620.

E. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Deactivate the unserviceable motor on the defective LP valve actuator as follows:
(a) If the LH actuator 9QG motor 1 is unserviceable:
(3) Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
4. Procedure(1) Deactivate the unserviceable motor on the defective LP valve actuator as follows:
(a) If the LH actuator 9QG motor 1 is unserviceable:
- open, safety and tag the circuit breaker 1QG.
- open, safety and tag the circuit breaker 3QG.
- open, safety and tag the circuit breaker 2QG.
- open, safety and tag the circuit breaker 4QG.
(3) Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).

A. Test of the left Engine LP-Valve-Actuator 9QG
Subtask 28-24-00-750-053-A NOTE: Two persons are necessary to do this test procedure, one person in the cockpit (to operate the LP valve) and one person near the LP valve (to listen to the actuator motor).

C. Close Access
(1) Install the applicable access panel (if removed) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-003):
Subtask 28-24-00-942-060-A (1) Install the applicable access panel (if removed) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-003):
- for the LH LP valve, install panel 522AT
- for the RH LP valve, install panel 622AT.
D. Removal of Equipment
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the SAFETY BARRIERS.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(6) Make a note in the aircraft log that the defective motor of the LP valve is deactivated.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the SAFETY BARRIERS.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(6) Make a note in the aircraft log that the defective motor of the LP valve is deactivated.
