A. Removal of the Crossfeed Valve Actuator (5QE)
(1) Before you disconnect the electrical connectors, make sure that there is identification on them. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Loosen the screw of the V-clamp (4).
(5) Remove the V-clamp (4) that attaches the crossfeed valve actuator (3) to the mounting flange (6).
(6) Remove the crossfeed valve actuator (3) from the mounting flange (6).
(7) Remove and discard the O-ring (5) from the mounting flange (6).
(8) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the mounting flange (6) and the crossfeed valve actuator (3).
(1) Before you disconnect the electrical connectors, make sure that there is identification on them. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR IS CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT IT. CONTAMINATION OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR CAN CAUSE INCORRECT FIRE DETECTION.
CAUTION:
YOU MUST NOT BEND THE ELECTRICAL HARNESSES TOO MUCH WHEN YOU DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS. THE HARNESSES CAN BE DAMAGED AND CAUSE ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT DEFECT.
