A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) When you do maintenance work on the fuel system you must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) On the APU section of the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW is in the off position (the ON legend is off).
(3) On the FUEL overhead panel 40VU, make sure that all L TK PUMPS and R TK PUMPS pushbutton switches are released (the OFF legends are on).
(4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position:
(6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the MLG door.
Subtask 28-22-15-865-052-A (1) When you do maintenance work on the fuel system you must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).

(4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position:
- on the overhead panel 25VU, to tell persons not to operate the APU MASTER SW,
- on the FUEL panel 40VU, to tell persons not to operate the fuel system,
- on the APU FIRE panel 20VU, to tell persons not to operate the fire extinguishing system.
(6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the MLG door.

A. Installation of the APU Fuel Pressure Switch (7QC)
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Put new AIPC 28-22-03-01-210 O-RINGS (4) or AIPC 28-22-83-01-330 O-RINGS (4) on the banjo head (6) of the APU fuel pressure switch (1).
(4) Install the APU fuel pressure switch (1) to the check valve (3) with the plug (5).
(5) TORQUE the plug (5) to between 3.3 and 2.7 m.daN (24.34 and 19.91 lbf.ft )

(6) Safety the plug (5) together with the check valve (3) with corrosion-resistant steel lockwire 0.6 mm (0.024 in.) dia.
(7) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(8) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(9) Install the electrical connector (2) to the APU fuel pressure switch (1).
Subtask 28-22-15-865-053-A (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the APU fuel pump system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-22-00-710-002).
(2) Examine the connections of the APU fuel pressure switch for leaks.

NOTE: Leaks are not permitted.
