A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) On the APU section of the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW is in the off position (the ON legend is off).
(3) On the FUEL overhead panel 40VU, make sure that all L TK PUMPS and the R TK PUMPS pushbutton switches are released (the OFF legends are on).

(1) Open the LH main landing-gear (MLG) door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Put the STEPLADDER 2.0 M (6.6 FT) in position at the LH MLG door.

A. Operational Test of the APU Fuel Pump

NOTE: You can feel with your hand when the APU fuel pump operates.

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the APU section of the overhead panel 25VU: push the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch to the ON position.	On the APU section of the overhead panel 25VU: the ON legend in the APU MASTER SW comes on.
	At the APU Fuel Pump 4QC on the FR42/ZONE 140: the APU fuel pump operates.
2.On the APU section of the overhead panel 25VU: release the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch to the off position.	On the APU section of the overhead panel 25VU: the ON legend in the APU MASTER SW goes off.
	At the APU Fuel Pump 4QC on the FR42/ZONE 140: the APU fuel pump stops.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the stepladder from the LH MLG door.
(3) Close the LH MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
