A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) On the ECAM control panel (CP), push (in) the FUEL P/BSW:
  • make sure that the FUEL page shows on the ECAM lower Display Unit (DU).
   (4) Refuel (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-003), defuel (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001) or transfer fuel (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-869-001) as necessary to get a fuel level of:
  • a minimum of 2000 kg (4409 lb) and maximum 3000 kg (6614 lb) of fuel in each wing tank.
   (5) Start the engines (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-003).

   (1) Do the Operational Test of the Fuel Flow through the Fuel Pumps with Gravity Feed (Ref. AMM TASK 28-21-00-710-006).
