   (2) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.

   (1) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) P/BSW is off.

D. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
     (a) For the left pylon at zone 410 and 470.
     (b) For the right pylon at zone 420 and 480.
   (2) Make sure that the below access panels are opened:
     (a) For the left pylon:
     (b) For the right pylon:
   (3) Make sure that the below thrust reverser cowl-doors are opened:
     (a) For the left nacelle:
     (b) For the right nacelle:
4. Procedure
Subtask 28-20-00-420-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the external surface of the fuel drain line and the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
   (2) Do a visual inspection of the fuel drain line. It must not be blocked.
   (3) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
Subtask 28-20-00-420-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Installation of the Fuel Drain Line
   (1) Do the steps that follow to install the flexible hose assembly (7):
     (a) Put the flexible hose assembly (7) in position on the RIB 1.
     (b) Make sure that the flexible hose assembly (7) is in correct position and aligned correctly.
     (c) Carefully connect the flexible hose assembly (7) to the union (6) and the main fuel-feed line.
     (d) Tighten the connectors of the flexible hose assembly (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-12-911-001).
   (2) Do the steps that follow to install the pipe assembly (2):
     (a) Put the pipe assembly (2) in position between RIB 1 and RIB 4.
     (b) Make sure that the pipe assembly (2) is in correct position and aligned correctly.
     (c) Connect the pipe assembly (2) to the union (5).
     (d) Install the washers (4) and the bolts (3) to the pipe assembly (2).
     (e) Tighten the connector of the pipe assembly (2) on the union (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-12-911-001).
     (f) Tighten the bolts (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
     (g) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet 120 degre Celsius (Material No.06ABB2) to the bolts (3).
   (3) Do the steps that follow to install the flexible hose assembly (1):
     (a) Put the flexible hose assembly (1) in position between RIB 3 and RIB 6.
     (b) Make sure that the flexible hose assembly (1) is in correct position and aligned correctly.
     (c) Connect the flexible hose assembly (1) to the pipe assembly (2) and the main fuel-feed line.
     (d) Tighten the connectors of the flexible hose assembly (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-12-911-001).
5. Close-up
Subtask 28-20-00-410-053-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the thrust reverser cowl-doors:
     (a) For the left nacelle:
     (b) For the right nacelle:
   (3) Install the applicable access panels:
     (a) For the left pylon:
     (b) For the right pylon:

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Do the EIS stop procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
   (3) Reactivate the thrust reverser system (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-440-805).

D. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Remove the safety barriers.
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
