Subtask 28-16-00-941-063-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(1) Put a CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL) below the valve (1).
(2) Disconnect WC11 harness from the valve (1) with a PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(3) Disconnect the fuel tube from the valve (1).
(4) Let the fuel drain from the fuel tube. You must wait for a period of 10 minutes to let the fuel drain completely.
(5) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the open end of the valve (1).

A. Safety Precautions
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) In the cockpit (zone 210), on panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(4) On the throttle control lever, put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the reverse system.

(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(4) On the throttle control lever, put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the reverse system.
B. Fuel Configuration
(1) Make sure that the applicable wing tank has a minimum of 1600 kg (3527.40 lb) of fuel.
(a) Refuel or transfer fuel as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-004) or (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-869-001).
Subtask 28-16-00-010-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the applicable wing tank has a minimum of 1600 kg (3527.40 lb) of fuel.
(a) Refuel or transfer fuel as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-004) or (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-869-001).
C. Get Access
(1) Open the applicable fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802).
(3) Open the left thrust-reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802).

WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(2) Do the deactivation procedure of the applicable thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). (3) Open the left thrust-reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802).
CAUTION:
INSTALL CAPS AND PLUGS ON THE ORIFICES OF ALL DISCONNECTED PIPES AND PARTS FOR THEIR PROTECTION AGAINST CONTAMINATION BY UNWANTED MATERIALS.
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO HOLD THE MATING PARTS WHEN YOU LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE TUBE OR HOSE NUTS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS CAUTION, YOU CAN TWIST OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TUBES OR HOSES.
D. Disconnection of the Fuel Tube from the Valve (1) Put a CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL) below the valve (1).
(2) Disconnect WC11 harness from the valve (1) with a PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(3) Disconnect the fuel tube from the valve (1).
(4) Let the fuel drain from the fuel tube. You must wait for a period of 10 minutes to let the fuel drain completely.
(5) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the open end of the valve (1).
CAUTION:
INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(6) Make sure that you install the COVER - PROTECTION as necessary to prevent damage to the engine. Subtask 28-16-00-790-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Monitor the fuel tube for 10 minutes.

(1) Connect the fuel tube and WC11 harness to the valve (1) and do the related test procedure(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-13-03-400-801).

(3) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-802).
