3. Job Set-up
Subtask 28-16-00-941-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
WARNING: OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
   (1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work on the fuel system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
   (2) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engines.
   (3) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position:
     (a) For the left pylon, below zone 410.
     (b) For the right pylon, below zone 420.
   (2) Remove the pylon lateral access-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 54-51-21-000-802):
     (a) For the left pylon:
     (b) For the right pylon:
   (3) Remove the pylon-to-wing access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-804):
     (a) For the left pylon:
     (b) For the right pylon:
   (4) Use a LIGHT SOURCE - TORCH for the inspection.
4. Procedure
Subtask 28-16-00-210-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Visual Check of Recirculation Return Line Shroud
   (1) Do a visual check of the recirculation return-line shroud and make sure that:
  • There is no damage
  • There are no dents
  • There are no cracks
  • There are no scores
  • They are installed in the correct condition
  • There are no signs of fuel leaks.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the pylon-to-wing access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-804):
     (a) For the left pylon:
     (b) For the right pylon:
   (3) Install the pylon lateral access-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 54-51-21-400-802):
     (a) For the left pylon:
     (b) For the right pylon:

B. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Remove the safety barriers.
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
