Removal of the Actuator
WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:
1. Reason for the Job- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slat system.
(2) Make sure that the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS is on the slat/flap control lever.
(3) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
Subtask 28-15-51-865-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slat system.
(2) Make sure that the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS is on the slat/flap control lever.
(3) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) below the applicable zone 520(620).
(2) Remove the applicable access panel:
(a) FOR [9QP] (ACTUATOR-TRANSFER VALVE, L FWD SPAR)
remove 522KB
(b) FOR [10QP] (ACTUATOR-TRANSFER VALVE, R FWD SPAR)
remove 622KB.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) below the applicable zone 520(620).
(2) Remove the applicable access panel:
(a) FOR [9QP] (ACTUATOR-TRANSFER VALVE, L FWD SPAR)
remove 522KB
(b) FOR [10QP] (ACTUATOR-TRANSFER VALVE, R FWD SPAR)
remove 622KB.
CAUTION:

Subtask 28-15-51-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
A. Removal of the Actuator 9QP(10QP)
(1) Remove the electrical connector (4).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the bolt (2), the clamp (3) and remove the actuator (5) from the transfer valve drive (1).
(4) Remove and discard the O-ring (6).
(1) Remove the electrical connector (4).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the bolt (2), the clamp (3) and remove the actuator (5) from the transfer valve drive (1).
(4) Remove and discard the O-ring (6).
