A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.

A. Inspection of the Drain Mast for Obstruction
(1) Make sure that the drain mast openings are not blocked. Remove any blockages from the drain mast openings.
(2) Examine the drain mast for damage, cracks, corrosion and correct attachment.
(3) If the drain mast is blocked or damaged, do an inspection of the vapour seal (Ref. AMM TASK 28-18-00-200-001).

NOTE: If the drain mast becomes blocked, the center tank vent system can become pressurized. This can cause damage to the vapour seal.

(4) If necessary, replace the drain mast (Ref. AMM TASK 28-13-43-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-13-43-400-001).

A. Removal of Equipment
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the safety barriers.
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
