WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work in a fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001).
(3) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) is (are) in position, if necessary.
(4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate the Main Landing Gear (MLG) doors.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the center tank is defueled (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2) Make sure that the remaining fuel is drained from the center tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
(3) Make sure that the LH MLG door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is installed on the LH MLG door actuator.
(5) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is below access panel 147AZ or the ACT-Equipment Support Door.
(6) Make sure that access panel 147AZ or the ACT-Equipment Support Door is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the center tank is defueled (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2) Make sure that the remaining fuel is drained from the center tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
(3) Make sure that the LH MLG door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4) Make sure that the 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK is installed on the LH MLG door actuator.
(5) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is below the ACT-Equipment Support Door.
(6) Make sure that the ACT-Equipment Support Door is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).

A. Installation of the Check Valve

Check Valve 50QM(51QM) 120QM(121QM) 93QM ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Hold the clamp (2) on the end of the pipe (1) and install the check-valve (3), with the flat face horizontal.
(5) Move the clamp (2) on to the check-valve (3) and tighten the clamp (2).

(2) Install access panel 147AZ or the ACT-Equipment Support Door (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-400-001).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the LH MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).

(2) Remove the access platform(s).

(1) Refuel, defuel or transfer fuel as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-869-001).

C. Removal of Equipment
(1) If installed, remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
