A. Safety Precautions
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
Subtask 28-12-41-650-055-A WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work in a fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001). (2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
B. Fuel Configuration
(1) Defuel the Surge Tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable surge tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-869-001).

(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable surge tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-869-001).
C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) below the applicable access panel 550CB(650CB).
(2) Remove the applicable access panel 550CB(650CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-45-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002).
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) below the applicable access panel 550CB(650CB).
(2) Remove the applicable access panel 550CB(650CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-45-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002).

A. Inspection of the Overpressure Protector 46QM(47QM)
5. Close-upCAUTION:
DO NOT APPLY PRESSURE TO THE SAFETY DISC BECAUSE IT WILL EASILY BREAK.
(1) Examine the overpressure protector (1) to make sure that: - there is no damage to the wire mesh (2)
- there is no damage to the safety disc (3)
- the sealant on the nuts and the ends of the bolts (4) is in the correct condition
- it is correctly installed on the access panel (5)
- there is no corrosion.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the access panel 550CB(650CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-45-400-002).

B. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
