A. Safety Precautions
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
Subtask 28-12-41-650-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work in a fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001). (2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
B. Fuel Configuration
(1) Defuel the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
Subtask 28-12-41-010-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Defuel the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position below the applicable zone 540 or 640.
(2) Remove the applicable access panels
(Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002):
(a) FOR [102QM] (PROTECTOR-OVERPRESSURE, L WING TK)
remove 540JB 540KB
(b) FOR [103QM] (PROTECTOR-OVERPRESSURE, R WING TK)
remove 640JB 640KB.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position below the applicable zone 540 or 640.
(2) Remove the applicable access panels
(Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002):
(a) FOR [102QM] (PROTECTOR-OVERPRESSURE, L WING TK)
remove 540JB 540KB
(b) FOR [103QM] (PROTECTOR-OVERPRESSURE, R WING TK)
remove 640JB 640KB.

A. Removal of the Overpressure Protector 102QM(103QM)
(1) Remove the bolts (1).
(2) Remove the overpressure protector (4).
(3) Remove and discard the O-ring (3).
(1) Remove the bolts (1).
(2) Remove the overpressure protector (4).
(3) Remove and discard the O-ring (3).
