A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position below aft cargo-compartment door 826.
(3) Make sure that aft cargo-compartment door 826 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(4) Make sure that CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU is set to the ON position.

4. Procedure
Subtask 28-11-49-420-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the Integrated Impact Wall

Integrated Impact Wall of the ACT (AFT Cargo Compartment) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Install the integrated impact-wall elements (2) and (3) with the lock washers (5), the washers (4) and the studs (6) and (7).
(5) Tighten the studs (6) and (7).

5. Close-up
Subtask 28-11-49-410-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to the OFF position.
(3) Close aft cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
