A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(3) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(4) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the aft cargo-compartment door.
(5) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on:

the refuel/defuel control panel 801VU,
the fuel control panel 40VU,
to tell persons not to operate the refuel/defuel system. door.

4. Procedure
Subtask 28-11-49-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the Integrated Impact Wall.
(1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Make sure that the quick-connect fasteners (4) on the impact wall elements (2) and (3) are not loose or damaged.
(3) Make sure that the connection studs on the ACT (1) are not loose or damaged.
(4) Put the impact wall elements (2) and (3) in position on the ACT (1)
(5) Tighten the quick-connect fasteners (4).

Subtask 28-11-49-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the Integrated Impact Wall.
(1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Make sure that the quick-connect fasteners (4) on the impact wall elements (2) and (3) are not loose or damaged.
(3) Make sure that the connection studs on the ACT2 (1) are not loose or damaged.
(4) Put the impact wall elements (2) and (3) in position on the ACT2 (1)
(5) Tighten the quick-connect fasteners (4).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001)
