Subtask 28-11-47-860-059-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) Make sure that the ACT is completely drained from fuel (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-005).
(4) FOR [226QM2] (VALVE-WATER DRAIN, ACT2)
(a) Make sure that ACT AFT2 is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-003).
(5) FOR [226QM1] (VALVE-WATER DRAIN, ACT1)
(a) Make sure that ACT AFT1 is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-002).
(6) On refuel/defuel control panels 801VU and 800VU and on fuel control panel 40VU:
(a) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to operate the refuel/defuel system.

4. Procedure
Subtask 28-11-47-420-053-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the ACT Water Drain-Valve

CAUTION: DO THIS PROCEDURE ONLY IN THE WORKSHOP. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE BLADDER TANK CAN OCCUR.

(1) Install the water drain valves in ACT AFT1 and/or ACT AFT2.

Subtask 28-11-47-410-059-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Close Access
(1) FOR [226QM1] (VALVE-WATER DRAIN, ACT1)
(a) Install ACT AFT1 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-002).
(2) FOR [226QM2] (VALVE-WATER DRAIN, ACT2)
(a) Install ACT AFT2 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-003).

Subtask 28-11-47-790-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

C. Leak Test

NOTE: The procedure for each ACT is the same.

(1) Refuel the ACT (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-003) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-004) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-005).
(2) Examine the connection between the ACT water drain-valve and the ACT for leaks.

NOTE: Leaks are not permitted.

5. Close-up
Subtask 28-11-47-860-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) From refuel/defuel control panels 801VU and 800VU, fuel control panel 40VU and from ACT control panel 28VU:
(a) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
