Subtask 28-00-00-941-055-A
Subtask 28-00-00-560-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(a) Attach the end connectors (1) with the bolts (4) and the nuts (3).
(b) Install the bonding strap (6) with the bolt (5) and the nut (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) For joint types (detail B):
(a) Push the pipe into the rib connectors (9) (one at each end).
(b) Install the pipe and the rib connectors (9) and attach them with the bolts (10) and the nuts (8).
(c) Install the bonding strap (11) with the bolt (12) and the nut (13) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(3) For joint types (detail C):
(a) If it is necessary, install the rib connectors (25) and (19) and attach them with the bolts (20) and the nuts (18).
(b) Make sure that the retaining ring (16) is in the correct position.
(c) Push the pipe (17) into the rib connector (25).
(d) Attach the pipes with the retaining nuts (15) and (24).
(e) Install the bonding strap (21) with the bolt (22) and the nut (23) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) For joint types (detail E):
(a) Make sure that the retaining rings (30) are in their correct position.
(b) Push the pipes into the connector (32) and attach them with the retaining nuts (31).
(c) Install the bonding strap (27) with the bolt (28) and the nut (29) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(5) To install the fairleads (detail F):
(a) Put the two halves of the fairlead (37) on the pipe and install the bolts (35) and the nuts (36).
(b) Install the bolts (41), the washers (42) and the nuts (34).
(c) Install the bonding strap (39) with the bolt (38) and the nut (40) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(6) For joint types (detail G):
(a) If it is necessary, install the rib connector (45) and attach it with the bolts (50) and the nuts (51).
(b) Make sure that the retaining ring (43) is in the correct position.
(c) Push the pipe into the rib connector (45) and attach it with the retaining nut (44).
(d) Install the bonding strap (46) with the bolt (47) and the nut (48) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
Subtask 28-00-00-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(a) For joint types (detail A):
1 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-05-240 O-RING (7) on the outer pipe (3). Temporarily install the tube (19) and the clamp (22) on the outer pipe (3).
2 Temporarily install the collar (8) and the securing ring (20) on the forward inner pipe.
3 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-05-200 O-RING (21) on the forward inner pipe.
4 Push the inner pipes together so that the aft pipe is on the O-ring (21). Install the collar (8) and the securing ring (20).
5 Install the bonding strap (9) with the washer (11) and the bolt (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
6 Put the new AIPC 28-25-84-05-170 O-RING (18) in position at the flange (17). Push the tube (19) in position and install the bolt (14), the washers (15) and the nut (16).
7 Install the bolts (12) and the nuts (13).
14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
9 Put the clamp (22) in position on the pipe (3).
10 Install the bonding strap (4) with the bolt (5), the washers (2) and the nut (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(b) For joint types (detail B):
1 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-04-080 O-RING (37) on the outer pipe (31).
2 Temporarily install the clamp (30) and the tube (38) on the outer pipe (31).
3 Temporarily install the collar (39) and the securing ring (57) on the aft inner pipe.
4 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-04-180 O-RING (40) on the aft inner pipe.
5 Push the inner pipes together so that the forward pipe is on the O-ring (40). Install the collar (39) and the securing ring (57).
6 Install the bonding strap (54) with the washer (52) and the nut (53) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
7 Put the new AIPC 28-25-84-04-140 O-RINGS (55) in position at the flange (56).
8 Push the tube (38) and the pipe (47) in position and install the two bolts (41) and the two nuts (44).
9 Install the bolts (51), the washers (50) and the nuts (49).
10 Install the retaining clip (36) and safety with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
11 Install the bonding strap (45) with the bolts (42), the washers (43) and the nuts (46) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
12 Put the clamp (30) in position on the pipe (31).
13 Install the bonding strap (32) with the bolt (35), the washers (34) and the nut (33) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(c) For joint types (detail C):
1 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-03-360 O-RING (97) on the outer pipe (99). Temporarily install the tube (110) and the clamp (104) on the outer pipe (99).
2 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-03-410 O-RING (108) on the forward inner pipe. Temporarily install the collar (96) with the securing ring (114) on the forward inner pipe.
3 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-03-100 O-RING (109) on the sleeve (95).
4 Push the sleeve (95) with the securing ring (113) on the O-ring (108) on the forward inner pipe. Push the aft inner pipe on the sleeve (95).
5 Install the collar (96).
6 Make sure that there is a minimum clearance (DIM X) of 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.) between the collar (96) and the securing ring (113) (on the inner pipe).
7 Install the bonding strap (105) with the washer (106) and the nut (107) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
8 Put the new AIPC 28-25-84-03-280 O-RING (111) on the outer pipe (88) and the new AIPC 28-25-84-03-270 O-RING (112) in position at the flange (90).
9 Put the outer pipe (88) in position. Install the bolts (92), the washers (91), the washers (86) and the nuts (87).
10 Put the tube (110) in position and install the bolts (93) and nuts (89).
11 Install the bolts (94), the washers (84) and the nuts (85).
12 Install the retaining clip (98) and safety with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
13 Put the clamp (104) in position on the pipe (99).
14 Install the bonding strap (102) with the bolt (103), the washers (101) and the nut (100) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(d) For joint types (detail E):
1 Install the new AIPC 28-12-84-02-260 O-RING (128) on the outer pipe (127).
2 Install the new AIPC 28-12-84-02-260 O-RING (136) on the outer pipe (145).
3 Temporarily install the clamp (140) and the tube (137) on the outer pipe (145).
4 Temporarily install the tube (126) on the outer pipe (127).
5 Make sure that the tube (137) is temporarily installed on the outer pipe (145).
6 Temporarily install the two new AIPC 28-12-84-02-270 O-RINGS (152) and the new AIPC 28-12-84-02-260 O-RING (151) on the double flange (150).
7 Put the double flange (150) between the inner pipes. Install the collar (149) with the securing ring and the new AIPC 28-12-84-02-250 O-RING (148) on the aft inner pipe.
8 Install the collar (130) with the securing ring and the new AIPC 28-12-84-02-250 O-RING (131) on the forward inner pipe.
9 Install the bonding strap (125) with the washers (124) and (147), and the nuts (123) and (146).
10 Push the tube (126) and the O-rings (152) in position.
11 Push the tube (164) and the O-ring (151) in position.
12 Install the four bolts (132) and the four nuts (135).
13 Install the bonding straps (154) and (153) with the two bolts (133), the four washers (134) and the two nuts (138) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
14 Install the retaining clips (129) and (139) and safety with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
15 Put the clamp (140) in position on the pipe (145).
16 Install the bonding strap (143) with the bolt (144), the washers (142), and the nut (141) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
Subtask 28-00-00-420-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(a) Put the new AIPC 28-11-04-02-130 O-RING (32) on the aft inner pipe (36).
(b) Install the new AIPC 28-11-04-02-230 O-RING (37) and the coupling nut (43) with the retaining ring (44) on the outer pipe (4).
(c) Push the aft inner pipe (36) into the forward inner pipe.
(d) Put the pipe (4) clamp (22) on the bracket and loosely install the bolts (20) and the washers (21).
(e) Put the tube (35) and a new AIPC 28-11-04-02-120 O-RING (31) in position and install the bolts (34) and the washers (33).
(f) Install the bolts (30) and the nuts (45).
(g) Push the pipe (4) into the tube (35).
(h) Tighten the coupling nut (43). Make sure that the dimension Y to the inner flange is 17.00 mm (0.6693 in.) +/- 2.00 mm (0.0787 in.).
(i) Tighten the bolts (20) on the clamp (23).
(j) Tighten the bolts (34) and the nuts (45).
(k) Put the bonding strap (40) in position on the clamp (42). Install the bolt (38), the washers (39) and the nut (41) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) To install the ACT flexible fuel/vent pipe(s) (1), do the steps that follow:
(a) Put the new AIPC 28-11-04-02-130 O-RING (10) and the new AIPC 28-11-04-02-120 O-RING (11) on the flexible fuel/vent pipe (1) flange.
(b) Connect the flexible fuel/vent pipe (1) to the pipe (4) flange. Install the bolts (5), the nuts (9), the bolts (7), the washers (6) and the nuts (8) in the correct location (see detail E).
(c) Install the clamps (3) loosely on the bellows (2). Make sure that it will be possible to access the clamp (3) bolts through access panel 251KG opening.
(d) From the AFT cargo compartment:
1 Position partition panel 151AW above the flexible fuel and vent pipes (1).
2 Move the partition panel forward and put the bellows (2) on the fuel and vent pipe (4) flanges.
3 Install the partition panel 151AW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001).
(e) From the passenger compartment:
1 Tighten the clamps (3) and make sure that the bellows (2) are correctly installed on the pipe flanges.
(f) Put the new AIPC 28-11-04-02-120 O-RING (13) and the new AIPC 28-11-04-02-130 O-RING (14) on the flexible pipe (1) flange.
(g) Align the holes of the flexible pipe (1) flange with the ACT flange studs.
(h) Install the ACT (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).
(i) Make sure that the flexible pipe (1) is connected to the ACT flange with the nuts (12).
(j) Make sure that the nuts (12) are torqued to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in )

Subtask 28-00-00-420-058-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(a) Put the new AIPC 28-11-84-02-130 O-RING (32) on the aft inner pipe (36).
(b) Install the new AIPC 28-11-84-02-230 O-RING (37) and the coupling nut (43) with the retaining ring (44) on the outer pipe (4).
(c) Push the aft inner pipe (36) into the forward inner pipe.
(d) Put the pipe (4) clamp (22) on the bracket and loosely install the bolts (20) and the washers (21).
(e) Put the tube (35) and a new AIPC 28-11-84-02-120 O-RING (31) in position and install the bolts (34) and the washers (33).
(f) Install the bolts (30) and the nuts (45).
(g) Push the pipe (4) into the tube (35).
(h) Tighten the coupling nut (43). Make sure that the dimension Y to the inner flange is 17.00 mm (0.6693 in.) +/- 2.00 mm (0.0787 in.).
(i) Tighten the bolts (20) on the clamp (23).
(j) Tighten the bolts (34) and the nuts (45).
(k) Put the bonding strap (40) in position on the clamp (42). Install the bolt (38), the washers (39) and the nut (41) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) To install ACT1 flexible fuel/vent pipe(s) (1), do the steps that follow:
(a) Put the new AIPC 28-11-84-02-130 O-RING (10) and the new AIPC 28-11-84-02-120 O-RING (11) on the flexible fuel/vent pipe (1) flange.
(b) Connect the flexible fuel/vent pipe (1) to the pipe (4) flange. Install the bolts (5), the nuts (9), the bolts (7), the washers (6) and the nuts (8) in the correct location (see detail E).
(c) Install the clamps (3) loosely on the bellows (2). Make sure that it will be possible to access the clamp (3) bolts through the access panel 251KG opening.
(d) From the aft cargo compartment:
1 Position the partition panel 151AW above the flexible fuel and vent pipes (1).
2 Move the partition panel forward and put the bellows (2) on the fuel and vent pipe (4) flanges.
3 Install the partition panel 151AW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001).
(e) From the passenger compartment:
1 Tighten the clamps (3) and make sure that the bellows (2) are correctly installed on the pipe flanges.
(f) Put the new AIPC 28-11-84-02-130 O-RING (13) and the new AIPC 28-11-84-02-120 O-RING (14) on the flexible pipe (1) flange.
(g) Align the holes of the flexible pipe (1) flange with ACT1 flange studs.
(h) Install ACT1 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).
(i) Make sure that the flexible pipe (1) is connected to ACT1 flange with the nuts (12).
(j) Make sure that the nuts (12) are torqued to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in )

(3) For installation of ACT2 fuel/vent pipes, do the steps that follow:
(a) Put the new AIPC 28-11-84-17-140 O-RING (51) and the new AIPC 28-11-84-17-020 O-RING (52) on the flexible pipe (50) flange.
(b) Align the holes of the flexible pipe (50) flange with ACT1 rear flange studs.
(c) Connect the flexible pipe (50) to ACT1 rear flange with the nuts (53).
(d) TORQUE the nuts (53) to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in )

(e) Put the new AIPC 28-11-84-17-020 O-RING (55) and the new AIPC 28-11-84-17-140 O-RING (56) on the flexible pipe (50) flange.
(f) Align the holes of the flexible pipe (50) flanges with ACT2 flange studs.
(g) Install ACT2 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).
(h) Make sure that the flexible pipe (50) is connected to ACT2 flanges with the nuts (54).
(i) Make sure that the nuts (54) are torqued to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in )

BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work in a fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001). (2) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is below the applicable access panel.
(2) Make sure that the applicable fuel tank is defueled (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(3) Make sure that the remaining fuel has been drained from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
(4) Get access to the applicable fuel tanks and work areas (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002).
(a) For the LH and RH wing (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-002).
(b) If applicable, make sure that the wing tip has been removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-31-21-000-001).
(c) For access at FR42, make sure that the access covers 147AZ(148AZ) have been removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-17-11-000-001).

(2) Make sure that the applicable fuel tank is defueled (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(3) Make sure that the remaining fuel has been drained from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
(4) Get access to the applicable fuel tanks and work areas (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002).
(a) For LH and RH wing (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-002).

(6) Put the fuel pipe in the correct position.

B. Installation of the Fuel Pipes NOTE: We recommend you that each fastener in the procedure to have a minimum of one thread pitch more than a fully torqued nut. This process confirms there is no fastener shanking.
(1) For joint types (detail A): (a) Attach the end connectors (1) with the bolts (4) and the nuts (3).
(b) Install the bonding strap (6) with the bolt (5) and the nut (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) For joint types (detail B):
(a) Push the pipe into the rib connectors (9) (one at each end).
(b) Install the pipe and the rib connectors (9) and attach them with the bolts (10) and the nuts (8).
(c) Install the bonding strap (11) with the bolt (12) and the nut (13) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(3) For joint types (detail C):
(a) If it is necessary, install the rib connectors (25) and (19) and attach them with the bolts (20) and the nuts (18).
(b) Make sure that the retaining ring (16) is in the correct position.
(c) Push the pipe (17) into the rib connector (25).
(d) Attach the pipes with the retaining nuts (15) and (24).
(e) Install the bonding strap (21) with the bolt (22) and the nut (23) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) For joint types (detail E):
(a) Make sure that the retaining rings (30) are in their correct position.
(b) Push the pipes into the connector (32) and attach them with the retaining nuts (31).
(c) Install the bonding strap (27) with the bolt (28) and the nut (29) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(5) To install the fairleads (detail F):
(a) Put the two halves of the fairlead (37) on the pipe and install the bolts (35) and the nuts (36).
(b) Install the bolts (41), the washers (42) and the nuts (34).
(c) Install the bonding strap (39) with the bolt (38) and the nut (40) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(6) For joint types (detail G):
(a) If it is necessary, install the rib connector (45) and attach it with the bolts (50) and the nuts (51).
(b) Make sure that the retaining ring (43) is in the correct position.
(c) Push the pipe into the rib connector (45) and attach it with the retaining nut (44).
(d) Install the bonding strap (46) with the bolt (47) and the nut (48) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
CAUTION:

(1) To install the applicable fuel/vent pipe(s) between FR36 and FR46, do the steps that follow: (a) For joint types (detail A):
1 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-05-240 O-RING (7) on the outer pipe (3). Temporarily install the tube (19) and the clamp (22) on the outer pipe (3).
2 Temporarily install the collar (8) and the securing ring (20) on the forward inner pipe.
3 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-05-200 O-RING (21) on the forward inner pipe.
4 Push the inner pipes together so that the aft pipe is on the O-ring (21). Install the collar (8) and the securing ring (20).
5 Install the bonding strap (9) with the washer (11) and the bolt (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
6 Put the new AIPC 28-25-84-05-170 O-RING (18) in position at the flange (17). Push the tube (19) in position and install the bolt (14), the washers (15) and the nut (16).
7 Install the bolts (12) and the nuts (13).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
8 Install the retaining clip (6) and safety with 9 Put the clamp (22) in position on the pipe (3).
10 Install the bonding strap (4) with the bolt (5), the washers (2) and the nut (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(b) For joint types (detail B):
1 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-04-080 O-RING (37) on the outer pipe (31).
2 Temporarily install the clamp (30) and the tube (38) on the outer pipe (31).
3 Temporarily install the collar (39) and the securing ring (57) on the aft inner pipe.
4 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-04-180 O-RING (40) on the aft inner pipe.
5 Push the inner pipes together so that the forward pipe is on the O-ring (40). Install the collar (39) and the securing ring (57).
6 Install the bonding strap (54) with the washer (52) and the nut (53) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
7 Put the new AIPC 28-25-84-04-140 O-RINGS (55) in position at the flange (56).
8 Push the tube (38) and the pipe (47) in position and install the two bolts (41) and the two nuts (44).
9 Install the bolts (51), the washers (50) and the nuts (49).
10 Install the retaining clip (36) and safety with

2 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-03-410 O-RING (108) on the forward inner pipe. Temporarily install the collar (96) with the securing ring (114) on the forward inner pipe.
3 Install the new AIPC 28-25-84-03-100 O-RING (109) on the sleeve (95).
4 Push the sleeve (95) with the securing ring (113) on the O-ring (108) on the forward inner pipe. Push the aft inner pipe on the sleeve (95).
5 Install the collar (96).
6 Make sure that there is a minimum clearance (DIM X) of 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.) between the collar (96) and the securing ring (113) (on the inner pipe).
7 Install the bonding strap (105) with the washer (106) and the nut (107) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
8 Put the new AIPC 28-25-84-03-280 O-RING (111) on the outer pipe (88) and the new AIPC 28-25-84-03-270 O-RING (112) in position at the flange (90).
9 Put the outer pipe (88) in position. Install the bolts (92), the washers (91), the washers (86) and the nuts (87).
10 Put the tube (110) in position and install the bolts (93) and nuts (89).
11 Install the bolts (94), the washers (84) and the nuts (85).

3 Temporarily install the clamp (140) and the tube (137) on the outer pipe (145).
4 Temporarily install the tube (126) on the outer pipe (127).
5 Make sure that the tube (137) is temporarily installed on the outer pipe (145).
6 Temporarily install the two new AIPC 28-12-84-02-270 O-RINGS (152) and the new AIPC 28-12-84-02-260 O-RING (151) on the double flange (150).
7 Put the double flange (150) between the inner pipes. Install the collar (149) with the securing ring and the new AIPC 28-12-84-02-250 O-RING (148) on the aft inner pipe.
8 Install the collar (130) with the securing ring and the new AIPC 28-12-84-02-250 O-RING (131) on the forward inner pipe.
9 Install the bonding strap (125) with the washers (124) and (147), and the nuts (123) and (146).
10 Push the tube (126) and the O-rings (152) in position.
11 Push the tube (164) and the O-ring (151) in position.
12 Install the four bolts (132) and the four nuts (135).
13 Install the bonding straps (154) and (153) with the two bolts (133), the four washers (134) and the two nuts (138) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
14 Install the retaining clips (129) and (139) and safety with

(1) To install the fuel/vent pipe(s) (4) between FR45 and 47/2, do the steps that follow: (a) Put the new AIPC 28-11-04-02-130 O-RING (32) on the aft inner pipe (36).
(b) Install the new AIPC 28-11-04-02-230 O-RING (37) and the coupling nut (43) with the retaining ring (44) on the outer pipe (4).
(c) Push the aft inner pipe (36) into the forward inner pipe.
(d) Put the pipe (4) clamp (22) on the bracket and loosely install the bolts (20) and the washers (21).
(e) Put the tube (35) and a new AIPC 28-11-04-02-120 O-RING (31) in position and install the bolts (34) and the washers (33).
(f) Install the bolts (30) and the nuts (45).
(g) Push the pipe (4) into the tube (35).
(h) Tighten the coupling nut (43). Make sure that the dimension Y to the inner flange is 17.00 mm (0.6693 in.) +/- 2.00 mm (0.0787 in.).
(i) Tighten the bolts (20) on the clamp (23).
(j) Tighten the bolts (34) and the nuts (45).
(k) Put the bonding strap (40) in position on the clamp (42). Install the bolt (38), the washers (39) and the nut (41) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) To install the ACT flexible fuel/vent pipe(s) (1), do the steps that follow:
(a) Put the new AIPC 28-11-04-02-130 O-RING (10) and the new AIPC 28-11-04-02-120 O-RING (11) on the flexible fuel/vent pipe (1) flange.
(b) Connect the flexible fuel/vent pipe (1) to the pipe (4) flange. Install the bolts (5), the nuts (9), the bolts (7), the washers (6) and the nuts (8) in the correct location (see detail E).
(c) Install the clamps (3) loosely on the bellows (2). Make sure that it will be possible to access the clamp (3) bolts through access panel 251KG opening.
(d) From the AFT cargo compartment:
1 Position partition panel 151AW above the flexible fuel and vent pipes (1).
2 Move the partition panel forward and put the bellows (2) on the fuel and vent pipe (4) flanges.
3 Install the partition panel 151AW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001).
(e) From the passenger compartment:
1 Tighten the clamps (3) and make sure that the bellows (2) are correctly installed on the pipe flanges.
(f) Put the new AIPC 28-11-04-02-120 O-RING (13) and the new AIPC 28-11-04-02-130 O-RING (14) on the flexible pipe (1) flange.
(g) Align the holes of the flexible pipe (1) flange with the ACT flange studs.
(h) Install the ACT (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).
(i) Make sure that the flexible pipe (1) is connected to the ACT flange with the nuts (12).
(j) Make sure that the nuts (12) are torqued to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in )
. CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT YOU INSTALL THE BOLTS IN THEIR CORRECT INSTALLATION POSITIONS. THE BOLTS CAN HAVE DIFFERENT LENGTHS. IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THEM IN THEIR CORRECT INSTALLATION POSITIONS, DAMAGE TO THE ADJACENT COMPONENTS OR STRUCTURE.

(1) To install the fuel/vent pipe(s) (4) between FR45 and 47/2, do the steps that follow: (a) Put the new AIPC 28-11-84-02-130 O-RING (32) on the aft inner pipe (36).
(b) Install the new AIPC 28-11-84-02-230 O-RING (37) and the coupling nut (43) with the retaining ring (44) on the outer pipe (4).
(c) Push the aft inner pipe (36) into the forward inner pipe.
(d) Put the pipe (4) clamp (22) on the bracket and loosely install the bolts (20) and the washers (21).
(e) Put the tube (35) and a new AIPC 28-11-84-02-120 O-RING (31) in position and install the bolts (34) and the washers (33).
(f) Install the bolts (30) and the nuts (45).
(g) Push the pipe (4) into the tube (35).
(h) Tighten the coupling nut (43). Make sure that the dimension Y to the inner flange is 17.00 mm (0.6693 in.) +/- 2.00 mm (0.0787 in.).
(i) Tighten the bolts (20) on the clamp (23).
(j) Tighten the bolts (34) and the nuts (45).
(k) Put the bonding strap (40) in position on the clamp (42). Install the bolt (38), the washers (39) and the nut (41) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) To install ACT1 flexible fuel/vent pipe(s) (1), do the steps that follow:
(a) Put the new AIPC 28-11-84-02-130 O-RING (10) and the new AIPC 28-11-84-02-120 O-RING (11) on the flexible fuel/vent pipe (1) flange.
(b) Connect the flexible fuel/vent pipe (1) to the pipe (4) flange. Install the bolts (5), the nuts (9), the bolts (7), the washers (6) and the nuts (8) in the correct location (see detail E).
(c) Install the clamps (3) loosely on the bellows (2). Make sure that it will be possible to access the clamp (3) bolts through the access panel 251KG opening.
(d) From the aft cargo compartment:
1 Position the partition panel 151AW above the flexible fuel and vent pipes (1).
2 Move the partition panel forward and put the bellows (2) on the fuel and vent pipe (4) flanges.
3 Install the partition panel 151AW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001).
(e) From the passenger compartment:
1 Tighten the clamps (3) and make sure that the bellows (2) are correctly installed on the pipe flanges.
(f) Put the new AIPC 28-11-84-02-130 O-RING (13) and the new AIPC 28-11-84-02-120 O-RING (14) on the flexible pipe (1) flange.
(g) Align the holes of the flexible pipe (1) flange with ACT1 flange studs.
(h) Install ACT1 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).
(i) Make sure that the flexible pipe (1) is connected to ACT1 flange with the nuts (12).
(j) Make sure that the nuts (12) are torqued to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in )
. (3) For installation of ACT2 fuel/vent pipes, do the steps that follow:
(a) Put the new AIPC 28-11-84-17-140 O-RING (51) and the new AIPC 28-11-84-17-020 O-RING (52) on the flexible pipe (50) flange.
(b) Align the holes of the flexible pipe (50) flange with ACT1 rear flange studs.
(c) Connect the flexible pipe (50) to ACT1 rear flange with the nuts (53).
(d) TORQUE the nuts (53) to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in )
. (e) Put the new AIPC 28-11-84-17-020 O-RING (55) and the new AIPC 28-11-84-17-140 O-RING (56) on the flexible pipe (50) flange.
(f) Align the holes of the flexible pipe (50) flanges with ACT2 flange studs.
(g) Install ACT2 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).
(h) Make sure that the flexible pipe (50) is connected to ACT2 flanges with the nuts (54).
(i) Make sure that the nuts (54) are torqued to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in )
