1. Reason for the Job
To make sure the anti-rotation dowel dimension is correct.

NOTE: Only do this procedure on twin motor actuators Part No. HTE190001, HTE190001-1, HTE190001-2 and HTE190026. It is not necessary to do this procedure on twin motor actuators Part No. FRH010034 and FRH010041.

3. Job Set-up
Subtask 28-00-00-160-051-A

A. Cleaning

CAUTION: DO NOT TRY TO TURN THE DRIVE OF THE ACTUATOR BECAUSE YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE.

(1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to remove dirt and/or grease from the applicable actuator.
(2) Make sure that the actuator is clean and in the correct condition.

4. Procedure
Subtask 28-00-00-220-053-A

A. Dimensional Check
(1) Use a VERNIER CALIPER to check the dimension X from the mounting flange face of the actuator to the dowel:
(a) If the dimension X is more than 1.08 mm (0.0425 in.), the actuator is unserviceable and must be rejected.
(b) If the dimension X is 1.08 mm (0.0425 in.) or less, the actuator is serviceable.

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
