Installation of the Side Stick Bellows
NOTE: This task is not applicable for the new-generation side-stick unit. For the new-generation side-stick unit, refer to the procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 27-92-41-400-804). To know if the side-stick installed on the aircraft is a new-generation side-stick unit, refer to the procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 27-92-41-860-801).

(2) Make sure that the access door 822 is open.

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the cover of the panel 18VU (19VU) is removed.
(2) Make sure that 98D27903500000 PIN-SIDE STICK LOCKING is installed.
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) which tells persons not to operate the side stick is in position.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the cover of the panel 18VU (19VU) is removed.
(2) Make sure that 98D27903500000 PIN-SIDE STICK LOCKING is installed.
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) which tells persons not to operate the side stick is in position.

A. Make sure that no foreign material has gone into the opening before you install the bellows (90).
Subtask 27-92-41-420-058-A B. Installation of the Bellows
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the bellows (90), fold it on the handle (91) and attach it with a AIPC 27-92-41-01-010 LIGATURE CORD (89) as follows:
(a) Wind the ligature cord (89) around the bellows (90) two times.
(b) Tighten the ligature cord (89) and attach it.
(c) Bond the knot with Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) .
(4) Install the bellows (90) on the support (92) and attach it with a ligature cord as follows:
(a) Wind the ligature cord (89) around the bellows (90) two times.
(b) Tighten the ligature cord (89) and attach it.
(c) Bond the knot with Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) .
5. Close-up(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the bellows (90), fold it on the handle (91) and attach it with a AIPC 27-92-41-01-010 LIGATURE CORD (89) as follows:
(a) Wind the ligature cord (89) around the bellows (90) two times.
(b) Tighten the ligature cord (89) and attach it.
(c) Bond the knot with Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) .
(4) Install the bellows (90) on the support (92) and attach it with a ligature cord as follows:
(a) Wind the ligature cord (89) around the bellows (90) two times.
(b) Tighten the ligature cord (89) and attach it.
(c) Bond the knot with Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) .
Subtask 27-92-41-410-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Remove the 98D27903500000 PIN-SIDE STICK LOCKING (93) and the warning notice from the side stick.
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Installation of the cover of the panel 19VU (18VU).
(4) Put the cover (3) in position.
(5) Lock the catches (2).
(6) Install the washers (5), the washer (7), the screws (4), the screw (6) and the screw (8). Tighten the screws.
(7) Release the lock (9). Install the handle (1).
Subtask 27-92-41-410-058-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Installation of the cover of the panel 19VU (18VU).
(4) Put the cover (3) in position.
(5) Lock the catches (2).
(6) Install the washers (5), the washer (7), the screws (4), the screw (6) and the screw (8). Tighten the screws.
(7) Release the lock (9). Install the handle (1).

(3) Installation of the cover of the panel 19VU (18VU).
(4) Put the cover (3) in position.
(5) Install the screws (2) and tighten them.
(6) Install the washers (5), the washer (7), the screws (4), the screw (6) and the screw (8). Tighten the screws.
(7) Install the handle (1) and the screws (9). Tighten the screws.

(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Installation of the cover of the panel 19VU (18VU).
(4) Put the cover (3) in position.
(5) Install the screws (2) and tighten them.
(6) Install the washers (5), the washer (7), the screws (4), the screw (6) and the screw (8). Tighten the screws.
(7) Install the handle (1) and the screws (9). Tighten the screws.
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
