Installation of the Flight Control Pressure Switch
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Make sure that one door of the main gear is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the access panel 196BB is open.
(4) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(5) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(6) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(7) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:

(7) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel.
- On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.

A. Installation of the Flight Control Pressure Switch 10CE3
(1) Lubricate the new AIPC 27-92-03-01-020 PACKING (3) or AIPC 27-92-83-01-040 PACKING (3) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
(2) Remove the blanking plugs from the ports of the manifold.
(3) Put the new packing (3) in position on the flight control pressure switch (2).
(4) Install the flight control pressure switch (2) in the manifold (4) and TORQUE it to between 3.470 and 3.186 m.daN (25.59 and 23.50 lbf.ft )

(5) Safety the flight control pressure switch (2) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel, 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).
(6) Install the clamp (9), the bonding strap (7), the screw (8), the washer (6) and the nut (5) at the flight control pressure switch (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(7) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (1).
(8) Connect the electrical connector (1).
Subtask 27-92-17-865-054-A (1) Lubricate the new AIPC 27-92-03-01-020 PACKING (3) or AIPC 27-92-83-01-040 PACKING (3) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Test
(1) Pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-863-001).
(3) Do a test of the flight control pressure switch 10CE3 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-96-00-710-011).
(4) Examine the connection of the flight control pressure switch and make sure that there are no leaks.
5. Close-up(1) Pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-863-001).
(3) Do a test of the flight control pressure switch 10CE3 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-96-00-710-011).
(4) Examine the connection of the flight control pressure switch and make sure that there are no leaks.

B. Close Access
(1) Remove the container.
(2) Connect the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Close the main door of the main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(6) Close the access panel 196BB.
(1) Remove the container.
(2) Connect the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Close the main door of the main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(6) Close the access panel 196BB.
