A. Open the main doors of the main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the opening of the main door of the main gear.
   (2) Make sure that the slats are in the fully retracted position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-005).

4. Procedure
Subtask 27-81-19-020-050-A
A. Removal of the Feed Back Position Pick-Off Unit
NOTE: Do not remove the Feed Back Position Pick-off Unit when the Pressure-off Brakes are removed from the Power Control Unit.
   (1) Remove the electrical connectors 28CV-A and 28CV-B from the Feed Back Position Pick-off Unit (FPPU).
   (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (3) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
   (4) Remove the FPPU carefully from the gearbox.
   (5) Put a TIE WRAP (3) behind the locking plate to prevent the retraction of the locking plate.
