A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the flaps and slats are in the fully retracted position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized.

B. Removal of the Command Sensor Unit (CSU)
(1) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
(2) Lift the control lever (9).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors (7) and (6) from the CSU (5).
(4) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the control lever (9).
(5) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Cut and discard the lockwire from the screws (3).
(7) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (4).
(8) Remove the CSU.
Subtask 27-51-17-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
(2) Lift the control lever (9).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors (7) and (6) from the CSU (5).
(4) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the control lever (9).
(5) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Cut and discard the lockwire from the screws (3).
(7) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (4).
(8) Remove the CSU.
B. Removal of the CSU
(1) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
(2) Lift the control lever (9).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors (7) and (6) from the CSU (5).
(4) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the control lever (9).
(5) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Cut and discard the lockwire from the screws (3), (10).
(7) Remove the screws (3), (10) and the washers (4).
(8) Remove the CSU.
(1) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
(2) Lift the control lever (9).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors (7) and (6) from the CSU (5).
(4) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the control lever (9).
(5) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Cut and discard the lockwire from the screws (3), (10).
(7) Remove the screws (3), (10) and the washers (4).
(8) Remove the CSU.
