F Adjustment of the Cruise Rollers ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Measure the dimensions Y and Z as follows:
     (a) If the dimension Y is less than, or equal to, 3 mm (0.1181 in.):
  • you must adjust the position of the cruise roller (6) until the dimension Z is 3 mm (0.1181 in.) +/- 0.5 mm (0.0197 in.).
     (b) If the dimension Y is more than 3 mm (0.1181 in.):
  • you must adjust the position of the cruise roller (6) until the dimension Z is decreased to the minimum possible value or until it is 0 mm (0 in.).
   (2) To adjust the cruise roller (6), do the steps that follow:
     (a) If necessary, remove the cushion seal (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-61-000-002).
     (b) Remove the nut (4), the collar (3) and the serrated plate (5).
     (c) Turn the eccentric bushing (1) until the dimension Z is correct.
     (d) Install the serrated plate (5) to lock the eccentric bushing (1).
     (e) Install the collar (3) and the nut (4). Tighten the nut (4) by hand.
     (f) Do a check of the dimensions Y and Z again.
     (g) TORQUE the nut (4) to between 2.7 and 2.4 m.daN (19.91 and 17.70 lbf.ft ) T.
1 If necessary, install the cushion seal (2) again (
Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-61-400-006).
   (3) At the outboard end of the shroud box:
     (a) Measure the dimension S between the bottom of the shroud box and the top of the inboard flap. The dimension S must be between 5 mm (0.1969 in.) and 12 mm (0.4724 in.).
   (4) Do a check of the clearance between the trailing edge of the spoiler 1 and the top surface of the flap (Ref. AMM TASK 27-64-00-820-001).

B. Adjustment of the Outer Roller
   (1) Use a straight-edge to measure the alignment between the outboard flap top surface and the outer fixed-shroud top surface.
     (a) If the dimension is less than 1 mm (0.0394 in.), the position of the outer roller (13) is correct.
     (b) If the dimension is more than 1 mm (0.0394 in.), you must adjust the outer roller (13).
   (2) Adjustment of the outer roller (13):
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
     (a) Remove the lockwire from the bolts (12) and discard.
     (b) Remove the bolts (12), the washers (11) and remove the locking plate (10).
     (c) Turn the spindle (14) until the outer roller (13) moves the flap in the specified limits.
     (d) Install the locking plate (10), the washers (11) and the bolts (12).
     (e) Safety the bolts (12) with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -

C. Adjustment of the Cruise Rollers of the Inboard and Outboard Flap
F Adjustment of the Cruise Rollers ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Adjustment of the cruise roller of the outboard flap:
     (a) Measure dimension Y (between the cruise roller and the cam plate):
1 The position of the cruise roller (6) is correct if dimension Y is between 0 mm (0.0000 in.) and 2 mm (0.0787 in.).
2 If dimension Y is more than 2 mm (0.0787 in.), you must adjust the position of the cruise roller (6).
     (b) Adjustment of the cruise roller (6):
1 If necessary, remove the cushion seal (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-61-000-002).
2 Remove the nut (4), the collar (3) and the serrated plate (5).
3 Turn the eccentric bushing (1) until dimension Y is correct.
4 Install the serrated plate (5) to lock the eccentric bushing (1).
5 Install the collar (3) and the nut (4).
       6 TORQUE the nut (4) to between 2.7 and 2.4 m.daN (19.91 and 17.70 lbf.ft ) T.
     (c) Do a check of dimension Y again.
1 If necessary, install the cushion seal (2) again (
Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-61-400-006).
   (2) Adjustment of the outboard cruise roller of the inboard flap
     (a) Measure and record dimension V.
     (b) Measure dimension X, this must be 6 MM (0.2362 IN.) minus dimension V, plus 0.5 MM (0.0197 IN.) or minus 1 MM (0.0394 IN.).
     (c) If dimension X is not correct, you must adjust the cruise roller (6).
     (d) Adjustment of the cruise roller (6):
1 If necessary, remove the cushion seal (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-61-000-002).
2 Remove the nut (4), the collar (3) and the serrated plate (5).
3 Turn the eccentric bushing (1) until dimension X is correct.
4 Install the serrated plate (5) to lock the eccentric bushing (1).
