A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the slats and flaps.

A. Deactivation of the Slat and Flap Control Computer (SFCC) No.2 Slat Channel
Subtask 27-51-00-865-078-A NOTE: When you do this procedure, it can be necessary to open circuit breaker 11CV (Ref. AMM TASK 20-16-00-912-001). This circuit breaker has a red threaded bush. To open this circuit breaker you need a standard wrench.

D. Test
(a) If the WTB is in operation (because of a failure of the Slat 2 channel), the "FLAP LEVER...RECYCLE" message will be shown on the ECAM.
(2) If the message to recycle the Flap control lever shows on ECAM, open the circuit breaker 11CV (Ref. AMM TASK 20-16-00-912-001).
Subtask 27-51-00-040-053-A NOTE: This paragraph is applicable only if the MCDU shows < NO RESPONSE > for SFCC 2.
(1) Do the Operational Test of the Slat System (Ref. AMM TASK 27-84-00-710-001). (a) If the WTB is in operation (because of a failure of the Slat 2 channel), the "FLAP LEVER...RECYCLE" message will be shown on the ECAM.
(2) If the message to recycle the Flap control lever shows on ECAM, open the circuit breaker 11CV (Ref. AMM TASK 20-16-00-912-001).
NOTE: WTB stays open.
E. Deactivation of the SFCC No. 2 Slat Channel (Continued)
(1) Do the Operational Test of the Flap and Slat Systems (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-00-710-002).

(a) On the MCDU, push the key adjacent to < RETURN until the CFDS MENU page is shown.
(b) On the MCDU, push the MCDU MENU key and make sure that the MCDU MAIN MENU is shown.
(5) Deactivation of the SFCC 2 slat channel:
(a) Open and safety circuit breaker 7CV.
(b) Attach a WARNING NOTICE(S) to the circuit breaker 7CV (in the cockpit) to tell persons that the slat channel for SFCC 2 is deactivated.
(c) Make an entry in the aircraft technical logbook that the SFCC No. 2 slat channel is deactivated.
(6) If the circuit breaker 11CV, was opened in the test procedure:
Subtask 27-51-00-869-065-A (1) Do the Operational Test of the Flap and Slat Systems (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-00-710-002).
NOTE: The slats will move slow.
NOTE: The circuit breaker 11CV stays open (if the c/b 11CV was opened before).
(2) Do the WTB/POB test with SFCC No. 1 (slat system) only (Ref. AMM TASK 27-81-00-710-001). NOTE: The circuit breaker 11CV stays open (if the c/b 11CV was opened before).
(3) Make sure that the WTB/POB test was successful and that the MCDU shows: SFCC 1

(4) Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration: (a) On the MCDU, push the key adjacent to < RETURN until the CFDS MENU page is shown.
(b) On the MCDU, push the MCDU MENU key and make sure that the MCDU MAIN MENU is shown.
(5) Deactivation of the SFCC 2 slat channel:
(a) Open and safety circuit breaker 7CV.
(b) Attach a WARNING NOTICE(S) to the circuit breaker 7CV (in the cockpit) to tell persons that the slat channel for SFCC 2 is deactivated.
(c) Make an entry in the aircraft technical logbook that the SFCC No. 2 slat channel is deactivated.
(6) If the circuit breaker 11CV, was opened in the test procedure:
- attach a WARNING NOTICE(S) to the circuit breaker 11CV (in the cockpit) to tell persons that the 28V power supply (from SFCC 2 to the WTB) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 20-16-00-912-001).

C. Removal of Equipment
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the safety barriers.
(3) Remove the warning notices, but keep the warning notices for the circuit breakers 7CV and 11CV (if 11CV was opened before).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the safety barriers.
(3) Remove the warning notices, but keep the warning notices for the circuit breakers 7CV and 11CV (if 11CV was opened before).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
