A. Make sure that the cable tension regulator is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 27-21-45-000-003).

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Cable Tension Regulator
(1) Make sure that the spacer (4), the link (5) and the spacer (20) are still installed on the side fitting (9).
(2) Install the side fittings (9) and (23) on the cable tension regulator (11).
(3) Install the bolt (7), the washers (6) and (3), the nut (1) and tighten.
(4) Install a new AIPC 27-21-01-12-143 COTTER PIN (2) or AIPC 27-21-81-12-160 COTTER PIN (2).
(5) Install the six bolts (12), the six nuts (10) and tighten.
(6) Install the pin (8), the sleeve (13) and the belcrank assy (19).
(7) Lock the nut (14).
(8) Install a new AIPC 27-21-01-12-143 PIN (15) or AIPC 27-21-81-12-160 COTTER PIN (15).
(9) Install the washer (16), the nut (18) and tighten.
(10) Install a new AIPC 27-21-01-12-154 COTTER PIN (17) or AIPC 27-21-81-12-270 COTTER PIN (17).
(11) Install the plate (22).
(12) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAF1) or Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) on the six screws (21).
(13) Install the six screws (21) and tighten them.
