(2) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door 826 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU is in the ON position.
(4) Make sure that the protection panel 162AW is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).
(5) Make sure that the shunt-device is installed on the cartridges (4).

(5) Make sure that the shunt-device is installed on the cartridges (4).
4. Procedure(1) For the location of this component, refer to Para. Component Location (Ref. AMM D/O 26-23-00-00).
(2) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door 826 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU is in the ON position.
(4) Make sure that the partition panel 161DW is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
(5) Make sure that the shunt-device is installed on the cartridges (4).

A. Installation of the Cartridges
(3) Install the cartridge (4) as follows:
(b) Install the new AIPC 26-23-42-02-050 O-RING (2).
(c) Loosely install the cartridge (4) in the discharge head (1).
(d) TORQUE the cartridge (4) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )

(e) Loosely install the bonding strap (3) and the nut (6) on the ground lug bolt (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(f) TORQUE the nut (6) to between 0.35 and 0.3 m.daN (30.97 and 26.55 lbf.in )

(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.

Subtask 26-23-42-865-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: The installation procedure is the same for cartridges 4016WX, 4018WX, 4021WX and 4023WX.
(1) Make sure that you are grounded with the ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED WRIST STRAP.WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE FRANGIBLE DISC IN THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER BOTTLE. DAMAGE TO THE FRANGIBLE DISC CAN CAUSE UNWANTED DISCHARGE AND INJURY TO PERSONS.
(2) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING from the discharge head (1). (3) Install the cartridge (4) as follows:
WARNING:
BEFORE YOU TOUCH THE POWER DEVICE CARTRIDGE, MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE GROUNDED AND THAT YOU INSTALL A SHUNT DEVICE ON IT. USE A CAP OR PLUG AS SHUNT DEVICE (THE CAP OR PLUG WILL SHUNT THE PINS TOGETHER ON THE CARTRIDGE). DO NOT USE A FOIL SHUNT.
IF YOU TOUCH A POWER DEVICE CARTRIDGE THAT DOES NOT HAVE A SHUNT DEVICE INSTALLED, AN EXPLOSION CAN OCCUR AND CAUSE INJURIES TO YOU.
(a) Install the ground lug bolt (7) on the cartridge (4). (b) Install the new AIPC 26-23-42-02-050 O-RING (2).
(c) Loosely install the cartridge (4) in the discharge head (1).
(d) TORQUE the cartridge (4) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
. (e) Loosely install the bonding strap (3) and the nut (6) on the ground lug bolt (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(f) TORQUE the nut (6) to between 0.35 and 0.3 m.daN (30.97 and 26.55 lbf.in )

USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(g) Safety the cartridge (4) with CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(4) Connect the electrical connector (5) as follows: (a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
WARNING:
BEFORE YOU TOUCH THE POWER DEVICE CARTRIDGE, MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE GROUNDED AND THAT YOU INSTALL A SHUNT DEVICE ON IT. USE A CAP OR PLUG AS SHUNT DEVICE (THE CAP OR PLUG WILL SHUNT THE PINS TOGETHER ON THE CARTRIDGE). DO NOT USE A FOIL SHUNT.
IF YOU TOUCH A POWER DEVICE CARTRIDGE THAT DOES NOT HAVE A SHUNT DEVICE INSTALLED, AN EXPLOSION CAN OCCUR AND CAUSE INJURIES TO YOU.
(b) Remove the shunt plug from the cartridge (4). CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE BONDING STRAP(S) IS(ARE) CONNECTED BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S).
(c) Connect the electrical connector (5) to the cartridge (4). WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(d) Safety the electrical connectors (5) with B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(3) Set the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to the OFF position.
(4) Close the aft cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

A. Close Access

(3) Set the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to the OFF position.
(4) Close the aft cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
