A. Removal of the Cargo Fire-Extinguisher Bottle
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION: MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (1) Make sure that you are grounded with the ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED WRIST STRAP.
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
   (2) Remove and discard the lockwire from the electrical connectors (21).
   (3) Disconnect the electrical connectors (21) as follows:
WARNING: BEFORE YOU TOUCH THE POWER DEVICE CARTRIDGE, MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE GROUNDED AND THAT YOU INSTALL A SHUNT DEVICE ON IT. USE A CAP OR PLUG AS SHUNT DEVICE (THE CAP OR PLUG WILL SHUNT THE PINS TOGETHER ON THE CARTRIDGE). DO NOT USE A FOIL SHUNT. IF YOU TOUCH A POWER DEVICE CARTRIDGE THAT DOES NOT HAVE A SHUNT DEVICE INSTALLED, AN EXPLOSION CAN OCCUR AND CAUSE INJURIES TO YOU.
     (a) Disconnect the electrical connectors (21) from the cartridges (22).
     (b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
     (c) Put the 10-101950-81 SHUNT PLUG-FIRE EXTINGUISHER CARTRIDGE,HTL (20) on the cartridges (22).

   (6) Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the pressure switch (3).
   (7) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (8) Loosen the nuts (5) and disconnect the flexible hoses (4) from the discharge heads (19):
     (a) Do not remove the safety beaded chain that is installed on the flexible hoses (4). This prevents the cross-connection of the cartridge electrical connectors.
   (9) Put the PLUG - BLANKING on the disconnected line ends and the discharge heads (19).
   (10) Loosen the nut (15) and disconnect the flexible hose (14) from the safety relief valve (7).
   (11) Put the PLUG - BLANKING on the disconnected line end and the safety relief valve (7).
   (12) Remove the nut (8) and the bolt (9) and then move the tie-rod (10) away from the fire extinguisher bottle (1).
   (13) Remove the fire extinguisher bottle (1) as follows:
WARNING: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU MOVE A FULL FIRE EXTINGUISHER BOTTLE. A SUDDEN OR HEAVY SHOCK TO A FULL BOTTLE CAN CAUSE UNWANTED DISCHARGE AND INJURY TO PERSONS.
