   (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

C. Get Access
WARNING: BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.
   (1) Put on and attach a safety harness before you start work in the work area

   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 314AR.
   (3) Open access door 314AR and safety it in the open position.
(Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-23-010-801).
   (4) If necessary, use a FLASHLIGHT.
   (5) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the pressure switch (4).
   (6) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
4. Procedure
Subtask 26-22-00-710-089-A
A. Test
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the connector of the pressure switch (4):
  • Connect the leads of the MULTIMETER - STANDARD between pin B and pin C.
On the multimeter:

  • A closed circuit is shown, indicating a pressurized bottle.
  • Put the ALLEN KEY 3/32 IN (2) into the pressure switch test-socket (3).

  • Slowly turn the Allen Key (2) clockwise or counterclockwise approx. 10 degrees.
  • An open circuit is shown.
  • Release the Allen Key (2).
  • A closed circuit is shown.
  • Remove the Allen Key (2) from the test-socket (3) and disconnect the multimeter.

NOTE: If the test is not OK, you must do the weight check of the APU fire extinguisher bottle (Ref. AMM TASK 26-22-00-040-004).

A. Close Access
   (1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (2) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (3) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the pressure switch (4).
   (4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (5) Close access door 314AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-23-410-801).
   (6) Remove the access platform(s).
   (7) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell the flight crew that the APU AGENT DISCH light is deactivated.
   (8) Make an entry in the aircraft technical logbook.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
