A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

C. Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.

A. Install the Smoke Detection Control Unit (SDCU)
(1) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector on the control unit (1) and from the receptacle on the rack (2).
(2) Put the control unit (1) on the rack (2).
(3) Push the control unit (1) to engage the connector (3).
(4) Attach the control unit (1) to its rack (2) with the knurled nut (4).

(2) Put the control unit (1) on the rack (2).
(3) Push the control unit (1) to engage the connector (3).
(4) Attach the control unit (1) to its rack (2) with the knurled nut (4).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Do an operational test of the control unit (Ref. AMM TASK 26-17-00-710-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 26-16-00-710-001).
5. Close-upSubtask 26-17-34-862-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) De-energize the ground service network (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the access door 811
