B. Safety Precautions
(1) In the cockpit, on the OVERHEAD CTL & IND panel 25VU, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell the persons not to start the APU .

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(2) Open the access door 824.

4. Procedure
Subtask 26-13-34-020-050-A

A. Remove the APU Fire Detection Unit (FDU):
(1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (5) and (6) from the Fire Detection Unit (1)
(2) Put CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connectors (5) and (6).
(3) Remove the screws (2) and the washers (3).
(4) Remove the fire detection unit (1)
