A. Installation of the Pylon Fire Detector Harness
NOTE: The fire-detector harnesseses P/N 8950-11-XXX and 8950-12-XXX series have an additional self-locking hex nut on the bulkhead end. This self-locking hex nut cannot be removed.
   (1) Make sure that the captive and self-locking nut on the bulkhead end of the fire-detector harnesses (4) is in correct condition.
     (a) Make sure that the locking device of the nut is not wear, if the locking device of the nut is too much wear, replace the fire-detector harnesses (4).
CAUTION: DO NOT USE ELECTRICAL OR PNEUMATIC TOOLS TO LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE QUARTER-TURN FASTENER ON THE FIRE DETECTOR CLAMP. ONLY USE A MANUAL SCREWDRIVER. ELECTRICAL OR PNEUMATIC TOOLS WILL CAUSE THE FASTENER TO TURN TOO MUCH AND POSSIBLY TO BREAK.
