   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
   (2) Open the access door 824.
4. Procedure

A. Remove the Fire Detection Unit (FDU):
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (5) and (6) from the Fire Detection Unit (1).
   (2) Put CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connectors (5) and (6).
   (3) Remove the screws (2) and the washers (3).
   (4) Remove the fire detection unit (1).
