A. Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE/CRANK/NORM/IGN/START selector switch is in the NORM position.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

4. Procedure
Subtask 26-12-16-420-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Support Assembly
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Put the support assembly (1) and the tubular support (4) in position.
   (5) Install the bolts (2) and nuts (3) on the support assembly (1). Do not tighten the nuts (3) at this time.
   (6) Put the tubular support (7) in position.
   (7) Install the washer (8) and bolt (9).
   (8) Tighten the bolt (9).
   (9) Tighten the nuts (3).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (10) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connectors.
   (11) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (12) Connect the electrical connectors to the fire detectors (5) and (6).

A. Installation of the Support Assembly
   (1) Put the support assembly (7) in position.
   (2) Install the bolts (5) and nuts (4) on the support but do not tighten at this time.
   (3) Install the clamps (3), washers (6), bolts (2), and the nuts (1) on the support but do not tighten at this time.
   (4) Tighten the bolts (2) and (5).
   (5) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
   (6) Connect the electrical connectors to the fire detectors.

   (3) Install the Fan Air Valve (FAV) (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-54-400-001).
