   (1) Remove the pylon fire-detector ramp-assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 26-12-16-000-804).

A. Removal of the Fire Detector
CAUTION: DO NOT USE ELECTRICAL OR PNEUMATIC TOOLS TO LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE QUARTER-TURN FASTENER ON THE FIRE DETECTOR CLAMP. ONLY USE A MANUAL SCREWDRIVER. ELECTRICAL OR PNEUMATIC TOOLS WILL CAUSE THE FASTENER TO TURN TOO MUCH AND POSSIBLY TO BREAK.
CAUTION: DO NOT BEND THE MANIFOLD OF THE SENSING ELEMENT. IF YOU BEND IT, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE WELDING.
   (1) Turn the quarter-turn fasteners (5) by one quarter of a turn and open the clamps (6).
   (2) Turn the quarter-turn fasteners (8) by one quarter of a turn and open the clamps (9).
   (3) Turn the quarter-turn fasteners (11) by one quarter of a turn and open the clamps (10).
   (4) Remove the four screws (1) and washers (2) from each responder unit (3).
   (5) Remove the two responder units (3) and the related sensing elements (7) from the rail assembly (4).
