A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is/are opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the applicable cargo-compartment door.
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.
Subtask 25-52-67-865-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is/are opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the applicable cargo-compartment door.
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.

A. Preparation for the Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the thread of the screws (3).
Subtask 25-52-67-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the thread of the screws (3).
B. Installation of the Control Panel 2020VU in the Forward and/or Aft Cargo Compartment
(1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(2) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the receptacle (4).
(4) Put the control panel (2) in its correct installation position on the structure (5).
(5) Install the screws (3).
(6) Install the insulation near the control panel (2).
Subtask 25-52-67-865-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(2) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the receptacle (4).
(4) Put the control panel (2) in its correct installation position on the structure (5).
(5) Install the screws (3).
(6) Install the insulation near the control panel (2).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
