A. Get Access
(1) Open the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s).
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the control panel of the related cargo loading system to tell persons not to use it.

A. Preparation for the Operational Test
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002)
(2) Lower all the latch elements of the latches which have a proximity switch below them.
(3) Lower the YZ-latch on each door sill latch.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Test
(1) Do the test of the power drive units in the forward and aft cargo compartments:

ACTION	RESULT
For the forward cargo compartment:
1.On the control panel 2020VU1:	In the cargo compartment:
Set the POWER ON/OFF switch 5MY to the ON position.	The POWER ON/OFF indicator light 7MY comes on. Power is supplied to the cargo conveyance controls.
2.On the control panel 2020VU1:	In the ball mat area:
Push the joystick 4MY to the IN position and hold it there,	The roller of the transversal power drive unit moves up and turns in the load direction
Release the joystick 4MY so that it moves to the neutral position.	The roller of the transversal power drive unit moves down and stops.
Push the joystick 4MY to the OUT position and hold it there,	The roller of the transversal power drive unit moves up and turns in the unload direction.
Release the joystick 4MY so that it moves to the neutral position.	The roller of the transversal power drive unit moves down and stops.
3.On the control panel 2020VU1:	On the cargo compartment floor:
Push the joystick 4MY to the FWD position and hold it there,	The roller of each longitudinal power drive unit moves up and turns in the forward direction.
Release the joystick 4MY so that it moves to the neutral position.	The roller of each longitudinal power drive unit moves down and stops.
Push the joystick 4MY to the AFT position and hold it there,	The roller of each longitudinal power drive unit moves up and turns in the aft direction.
Release the joystick 4MY so that it moves to the neutral position.	The roller of each longitudinal power drive unit moves down and stops.
4.On the control panel 2020VU1:	On the control panel 2020VU1:
Set the POWER ON/OFF switch 5MY to the OFF position.	The POWER ON/OFF indicator light 7MY goes off. The power supply to the cargo conveyance controls is stopped. For aft cargo compartment:
5.On the control panel 2020VU2:	In the cargo compartment:
Set the POWER ON/OFF switch 5MY to ON.	The POWER ON/OFF indicator light 7MY comes on. Power is supplied to the cargo conveyance controls.
6.On the control panel 2020VU2:	In the ball mat area:
Push the joystick 4MY to the IN position and hold it there.	The roller of the transversal power drive unit moves up and turns in the load direction
Release the joystick 4MY so that it moves to the neutral position.	The roller of the transversal power drive unit moves down and stops.
Push the joystick 4MY to the OUT position and hold it there.	The roller of the transversal power drive unit moves up and turns in the unload direction.
Release the joystick 4MY so that it moves to the neutral position.	The roller of the transversal power drive unit moves down and stops.
7.On the control panel 2020VU2:	On the cargo compartment floor:
Push the joystick 4MY to the FWD position and hold it there.	The roller of each longitudinal power drive unit moves up and turns in the forward direction.
Release the joystick 4MY so that it moves to the neutral position.	The roller of each longitudinal power drive unit moves down and stops.
Push the joystick 4MY to the AFT position and hold it there.	The roller of each longitudinal power drive unit moves up and turns in the aft direction.
Release the joystick 4MY so that it moves to the neutral position.	The roller of each longitudinal power drive unit moves down and stops.
8.On the control panel 2020VU2:	On the control panel 2020VU2:
Set the POWER ON/OFF switch 5MY to OFF.	The POWER ON/OFF indicator light 7MY goes off. The power supply to the cargo conveyance controls is stopped.

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Lift the YZ-latch on each door sill latch.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Close the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
