(1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the aft cargo-compartment door.
(3) If the Cargo Loading System (CLS) installed:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the control panel of the cargo loading system to tell persons not to use it.

B. Remove the Additional Center Tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-000-001).

4. Procedure

A. Remove the XZ-Latch for the ACT (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-34-000-004) and/or (Ref. AMM D/O 25-52-34-00).

B. Detailed Inspection of the XZ-Latch
(1) Examine each XZ-latch and the adjacent area for cracks, corrosion and other damage.
(2) Make sure that all the fasteners related to the XZ-latch are in the correct condition.

C. Install the XZ-Latch for the ACT (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-34-400-004) and/or (Ref. AMM D/O 25-52-34-40).

5. Close-up
