Subtask 25-31-42-860-051-AB ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that on the AIR COND panel 30VU:
     (a) The APU BLEED, the ENG1/2 BLEED and the PACK 1/2 pushbutton switches are in the OFF position.
NOTE: For the APU BLEED the ON legend is off.
For the ENG1/2 BLEED the OFF legends are on.
For the PACK 1/2 the OFF legends are on.
     (b) The warning notice to tell persons not to operate these pushbutton switches is in position.
   (3) Make sure that on the HP and LP ground connectors the warning notice is in position to tell persons not to connect the ground air supply.
   (4) Make sure that the potable water system is depressurized.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED. A PRESSURIZED SYSTEM CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS WHEN THEY DO WORK ON IT.
     (a) Make sure that the potable water system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
   (5) Make sure that all the galley compartments are empty and all galley equipment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-00-010-001) is removed.
   (6) Make sure that the curtain and the curtain rail are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-001).
   (7) Make sure that the ceiling panels and the door frame linings in the area of the galley are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-002).
   (8) Make sure that the cockpit door is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-51-11-000-001).
Subtask 25-31-42-860-051-AD ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that on the AIR COND panel 30VU:

   (8) Make sure that the cockpit door is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-51-11-000-001).
   (9) If a cockpit door camera is installed, make sure that the hinge-mount fitting is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-16-11-000-001).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the potable water system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
   (3) Make sure that the potable water system is drained (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-001).
   (4) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel, on the AIR COND section of panel 30VU:
     (a) Make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
  • APU BLEED pushbutton switch (the ON legend is off)
  • All the ENG BLEED pushbutton switches (the OFF legends are on)
  • PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches (the OFF legends are on).
     (b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate these pushbutton switches.
   (5) On the HP and LP ground-air connectors, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to connect the ground air supply.
   (6) On the water service panel, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to do the servicing of the potable water system.
   (7) Make sure that all applicable doors are open to let you get access to all the parts that you must install/connect.
   (8) If necessary, remove the contents of the galley.
   (9) Make sure that all the items of non-electrical equipment are removed from the galley.
   (10) Make sure that these items of equipment are removed:
     (a) Make sure that the ovens(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-19-000-001).
     (b) Make sure that the water boiler(s)/heater(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-27-000-001).
     (c) Make sure that the beverage maker(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-21-000-001).
     (d) Make sure that the galley control panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-34-000-001).
   (11) Make sure that the curtain(s) and the curtain rail(s) are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-001).
   (12) Make sure that the ceiling panels and the door frame linings in the area of the galley are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-002).
   (13) If necessary, remove the forward utility-area ceiling-panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-000-001).
   (14) Make sure that the cockpit door is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-51-11-000-001).
   (15) If a cockpit door camera is installed, make sure that the hinge-mount fitting is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-16-11-000-001).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized

   (8) If necessary, remove the contents of the galley.

   (14) Make sure that the cockpit door is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-51-11-000-001).
   (15) If a cockpit door camera is installed, make sure that the hinge-mount fitting is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-16-11-000-001).

C. Preparation of the Replacement Component
NOTE: To move the galley through the aircraft door, it is necessary to disconnect the galley splitline (Ref. AMM TASK 25-31-42-000-001).

   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

   (1) Prepare the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
   (2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent areas.
   (4) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

D. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do a visual inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Prepare the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
4. Procedure
Subtask 25-31-42-210-053-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do a visual inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
Subtask 25-31-42-420-050-AF ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Connect the Galley Splitline
NOTE: This procedure is only necessary if you removed the galley from the cabin.
   (1) Unless specified, TORQUE all nuts, bolts and screws (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
   (2) Install the Floor Fittings
F Attachment of the Galley - G1 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
     (a) Install the bushings (51) and the new AIPC 25-31-01-07-030 PACKINGS (52).
     (b) Put the floor fittings (53) in position.
     (c) Apply the Threadlocking Adhesive-- High strength - (Material No.
05BAJ1) to the threads of the bolts (55).
     (d) Install the washers (54) and the bolts (55).
     (e) Put the plates (56) in position.
WARNING: SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (3) Connect the Galley at the Splitline
NOTE: The splitline screws and bolts are painted red.
     (a) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (b) Carefully put the galley module (78) on top of the galley module (80).
     (c) Install the special nuts (85), the screws (88), the covers (86) and the screws (87).
     (d) Put the support strut (82) in position and install the washers (84) and the screws (83) and (81).
     (e) Install the screw (79).
     (f) Carefully put the galley module (71) on top of the galley module (78).
     (g) Install the screws (91), the covers (89) and the screws (90).
     (h) Install the remaining special nuts (85), screws (88), covers (86) and screws (87).
     (i) Install the washers (76) and the screws (77).
     (j) Install the screw (73), the washers (75) and the screws (74).
     (k) Install the pelmet (70) and the screws (72).
   (4) Seal the Splitline Joints
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
     (a) Remove the used sealant of the splitline joints with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
     (b) Clean the splitline joints with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
     (c) Apply the new Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) at all the splitline joints.
   (5) Connect the Supply Splitlines

     (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
     (b) Connect the elbows (65) to the pipes (67) and tighten the clamps (66)
     (c) Connect the pipe (64) to the sink (62) and tighten the clamp (63).
     (d) Connect the control cable (60) to the ring (61).
     (e) Connect all the remaining supply splitlines as necessary.
   (6) Carefully lift the galley above the plates (56).

C. Installation of the Galley Unit
WARNING: SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (1) Unless specified, TORQUE all nuts, bolts and screws (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
   (2) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Install the Lower Attachments
F Attachment of the Galley - G1 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
     (a) Apply the Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the bushings (48) and (47).
     (b) Install the bushings (48) and (47).
     (c) Put the shims (46) in position as identified during the removal procedure.
     (d) Put the plates (45) in position and install the washers (44) and the bolts (43).
     (e) Put the covers (49) in position and install the screws (50).
   (4) Install the Upper Attachments
F Attachment of the Galley - G1 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
     (a) Put the tie rods (42) in position and install the quick-release pins (40).
     (b) If necessary, remove and adjust the tie rods (42).
       1 Remove and discard the lockwire.
       2 Loosen the locknut.
       3 Adjust the tie rod end (41) until the quick-release pins (40) can be installed easily.
       4 Tighten the locknut.
       5 Make sure that the tie rod end (41) is in a safe condition.
       6 Safety the locknut with the lockwire, 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (5) Connect the Galley Supply Connections
     (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
     (b) Connect the hose (23) of the exhaust air system to the pipe (21) and tighten the clamps (22).
     (c) Connect the fresh air pipe (26) to the pipe (24) and tighten the clamp (25).
     (d) Connect the waste water drain hose (32) to the pipe (30) and tighten the clamps (31).
     (e) Connect the potable water pipe (27) to the fitting (29) and tighten the nut (28).
     (f) Close the door (20).
   (6) Connect the Electrical Connections
     (a) Install the clamps (1) and (3) and the nuts (2).
     (b) Put the bonding strap (13) in position and install the washer (14), the bolt (15) and the nut (12) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (c) Put the clamps (10) and (11) in position and install the washer (9) and thebolt (8).
     (d) Install the electrical wires.
CAUTION: REFER TO THE MATCH MARKS MADE DURING THE REMOVAL WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL WIRES. IF YOU MAKE AN ERROR WHEN YOU CONNECT THE WIRES YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
       1 Refer to the match marks and install the wires (7) and the nuts (6).
       2 Put the cover (4) in position and tighten the screws (5).
       3 Safety the screws (5) with the lockwire, 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.

D. Connect the Galley Splitline
NOTE: This procedure is only necessary if you removed the galley from the cabin.
   (1) Unless specified, TORQUE all nuts, bolts and screws (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
   (2) Install the Floor Fittings

     (a) Install the new AIPC 25-31-01-06-050 PACKING (68).
     (b) Apply the Threadlocking Adhesive-- High strength - (Material No.
05BAJ1) to the threads of the bolt (65).
     (c) Install the bushing (67), the washer (66), the bolt (65) and the bushing (64).
     (d) Install the bushings (53) and the new AIPC 25-31-01-06-050 PACKINGS (54).
     (e) Put the floor fittings (55) in position.
     (f) Apply the Threadlocking Adhesive-- High strength - (Material No.
05BAJ1) to the threads of the bolts (57).
     (g) Install the washers (56) and the bolts (57).
     (h) Put the plates (58) in position.

     (b) Carefully put the galley module (85) on top of the galley module (87).
     (c) Install the special nuts (88), the screws (91), the covers (89) and the screws (90).
     (d) Install the screw (86).
     (e) Carefully put the galley module (81) on top of the galley module (85).
     (f) Install the screws (94), the covers (92) and the screws (93).
     (g) Install the remaining special nuts (88), screws (91), covers (89) and screws (90).
     (h) Install the screws (83) and (84).
     (i) Install the pelmet (80) and the screws (82).
   (4) Seal the Splitline Joints
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
     (a) Remove the used sealant of the splitline joints with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
     (b) Clean the splitline joints with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
     (c) Apply the new Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) at all the splitline joints.
   (5) Connect the Supply Splitlines
F Splitline - Supply Connections G1 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
     (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
     (b) Connect the pipe (75) to the fitting (77) and tighten the nut (76).
     (c) Connect the pipe (74) to the sink (72) and tighten the clamp (73).
     (d) Connect the control cable (70) to the ring (71).
     (e) Connect all the remaining supply splitlines as necessary.
   (6) Carefully lift the galley above the plates (58) and the bushing (64).

     (e) Install the washer (60) and the bolt (59).
     (f) Apply the Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the bushings (49) and (50).
     (g) Install the bushings (50) and (49).
     (h) Apply the Threadlocking Adhesive-- High strength - (Material No.05BAJ1) to the threads of the bolts (46).
     (i) Put the plates (48) in position and install the washers (47) and the bolts (46).
     (j) Put the covers (51) in position and install the screws (52).
     (k) Put the wheel guides (45) in position and install the washers (44) and the screws (43).
   (4) Install the Upper Attachments

     (e) Connect the potable water pipe (29) to the fitting (31) and tighten the nut (30).
   (6) Connect the Electrical Connections
     (a) Install the clamps (1) and (3) and the nuts (2).
     (b) Put the bonding strap (13) in position and install the washer (14), the bolt (15) and the nut (12) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (c) Put the clamps (10) and (11) in position and install the washer (9) and the bolt (8).
     (d) Install the electrical wires.
CAUTION: REFER TO THE MATCH MARKS MADE DURING THE REMOVAL WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL WIRES. IF YOU MAKE AN ERROR WHEN YOU CONNECT THE WIRES YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
       1 Refer to the match marks and install the wires (7) and the nuts (6).
       2 Put the cover (4) in position and tighten the screws (5).

     (a) Apply the Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) to the bushings (58) and put them in position.
     (b) Install the new AIPC 25-31-01-65-030 PACKINGS (57).
     (c) Apply the Threadlocking Adhesive-- High strength - (Material No.
05BAJ1) to the thread of the bolts (54).
     (d) Install the floor fittings (56) with the washers (55) and the bolts (54).
     (e) Put the shims (53) in position as recorded during the removal procedure.
   (3) Clean the splitline joints of the galley:
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
     (a) Remove the used sealant from the splitline joints with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.

     (b) Carefully put the galley modules (110) and (120) in position.
     (c) Install the screws (119) and (118).
     (d) Install the access panel (116) with the screws (117).
     (e) Install the plate (121) with the screws (122).
     (f) Install the wheel guides (113) with the screws (114).
     (g) Install the strip (112) with the screws (111).
     (h) Install all the remaining splitline screws you removed during the removal procedure.
   (5) Seal the splitline joints of the galley:
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
     (a) Apply the new Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to all the splitline joints.
   (6) Connect the potable water connection:
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
WARNING: DO NOT DO WORK ON THE TOILET WASTE SYSTEM AND THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM AT THE SAME TIME. THIS WILL PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. SUCH CONTAMINATION CAN BE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.
     (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
     (b) Connect the water pipe (95) to the fitting (93) and tighten the nut (94).
     (c) Connect the water pipe (92) to the T-fitting (90) and tighten the nut (91).
     (d) Put the spacers (98) and the clamps (97) in position and install the screws (96).
   (7) Connect the waste water connection:
     (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
     (b) Connect the waste water hose (108) to the pipe (106) and tighten the clamp (107).
   (8) Connect the ventilation connection:
     (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
     (b) Connect the exhaust air hose (99) to the exhaust air duct (102) and tighten the clamp (101).
     (c) Install the screw (100).
     (d) Connect the fresh air hose (105) to the pipe (103) and tighten the clamp (104).
     (e) Connect all remaining splitline supply connections you disconnected during the removal procedure.
   (9) Connect the electrical connections:
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE BONDING STRAP(S) IS(ARE) CONNECTED BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S).
     (a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
     (b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (c) Install the galley control panel, if removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-34-400-001).
     (d) Connect the electrical plugs (84) and (87) to the electrical receptacles (85) and (86).
     (e) Connect all the remaining splitline electrical connections you disconnected during the removal procedure.
   (10) Apply the paint:

     (d) Put the shims (48) in position as recorded during the removal procedure.
     (e) Apply the Threadlocking Adhesive-- High strength - (Material No.05BAJ1) to the thread of the bolts (45).
     (f) Install the plates (47) with the washers (46) and the bolts (45).
     (g) Install the covers (52) with the screws (51).
     (h) Put the seal (63) in position.
     (i) Install the plate (71) and the screws (70).
     (j) Install the plates (62) and the screws (61).
     (k) Install the plates (60), (64) and (67) and the screws (59), (65) and (66).
     (l) Install the wheel guides (69) with the screws (68).
     (m) Seal the galley/floor interface:
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
       1 Apply the new tranparent Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the seal (63) and the floor interface.
     (n) Put the tie rods (43) in their correct positions on the aircraft structure and install the quick-release pins (44).
     (o) If necessary adjust the tie rods (43):
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
       1 Remove and discard the lockwire from the locknuts (42).
       2 Loosen the locknuts (42).
       3 Hold the tie rod ends that are not installed.
       4 Turn the tie rod barrels (41) until you can install the quick-release pins (44) easily.
       5 Tighten the locknuts (42).
       6 Do a check of the tie rods (43) for correct installation:
  • Put a short piece of the lockwire stainless steel 0,8MM DIA, 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -, into the safety holes at the tie rod ends.
  • Make sure that the lockwire does not go through the safety holes.
  • If it does, install a new tie rod.
       7 Safety the locknuts (42) with the lockwire stainless steel 0,8MM DIA, 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (3) Connect the potable water connections:
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED. A PRESSURIZED SYSTEM CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS WHEN THEY DO WORK ON IT.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
WARNING: DO NOT DO WORK ON THE TOILET WASTE SYSTEM AND THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM AT THE SAME TIME. THIS WILL PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. SUCH CONTAMINATION CAN BE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.
     (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
     (b) Connect the potable water pipe (38) to the fitting (36) and tighten the nut (37).
   (4) Connect the waste water connections:
     (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
     (b) Connect the waste water hose (33) to the pipe (35) and tighten the clamps (34).
     (c) Install the access cover (23) with the screws (24).
     (d) Close the door (22).
   (5) Connect the ventilation connections:
     (a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
     (b) Connect the exhaust air hose (32) to the pipe (30) and tighten the clamps (31).
     (c) Connect the fresh air hose (27) to the pipe (29) and tighten the clamp (28).
     (d) Install the pelmets (26) and (20) with the screws (25) and (21).
   (6) Connect the electrical connections:
     (a) Connect the bonding straps:
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE BONDING STRAP(S) IS(ARE) CONNECTED BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S).
       1 Put the bonding straps (14) in position and install the washers (13), the bolts (12) and the nuts (11) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (b) Install the clamps (1) with the washers (2) and the locknuts (3).
     (c) Install the clamps (8) with the washer (9) and the bolt (10).
     (d) Connect the electrical wires, ref. ESPM 2044520:

       1 Remove and discard the lockwire from the locknuts (86).
       2 Loosen the locknuts (86).
       3 Hold the tie rod end that is not installed.
       4 Turn the tie rod barrel (85) until you can install the quick-release pins (83) easily.
       5 Tighten the locknuts (86).
       6 Do a check of the tie rod (84) for correct installation:
  • Put short pieces of the lockwire stainless steel 0,8MM DIA, 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -, into the safety holes at the tie rods end.
  • Make sure that the lockwire does not go through the safety holes.
  • If it does, install a new tie rod.
       7 Safety the locknuts (86) with the lockwire stainless steel 0,8MM DIA, 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
     (d) Put the cover (65) in position and install the screws (64).
   (4) Connect the galley supply connections:

     (b) Connect the potable water hose (34) to the fitting (32) and tighten the nut (33).
     (c) TORQUE the nut (33) to between 5.81 and 5.27 m.daN (42.85 and 38.86 lbf.ft ) T.
     (d) If necessary, put the insulation (35) in its correct position.
     (e) Connect the waste water hose (29) to the pipe (31) and tighten the clamp (30).
     (f) If necessary, put the insulation (28) in its correct position.
     (g) Connect the exhaust air hose (25) to the pipe (27) and tighten the clamps (26).
     (h) Connect the fresh air hose (23) to the pipe (24) and tighten the clamp (22).
     (i) Put the cover (20) in position and install the screws (21).
   (5) Connect the electrical connections:

     (e) Put the cover (10) in position and tighten the screws (9).
     (f) TORQUE the screws (9) to between 0.10 and 0.08 m.daN (8.85 and 7.08 lbf.in )

       1 Remove and discard the lockwire from the locknuts (80).
       2 Loosen the locknuts (80).
       3 Hold the tie rod end that is not installed.
       4 Turn the tie rod barrel (79) until you can install the quick-release pins (77) easily.
       5 Tighten the locknuts (80).
       6 Do a check of the tie rod (78) for correct installation:
  • Put short pieces of the lockwire stainless steel 0,8MM DIA, 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -, into the safety holes at the tie rods end.
  • Make sure that the lockwire does not go through the safety holes.
  • If it does, install a new tie rod.
       7 Safety the locknuts (80) with the lockwire stainless steel 0,8MM DIA, 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
     (d) Put the cover (65) in position and install the screws (64).
   (4) Connect the galley supply connections:

     (d) If necessary, put the insulation (35) in its correct position.
     (e) Connect the waste water hose (29) to the pipe (31) and tighten the clamp (30).
     (f) If necessary, put the insulation (28) in its correct position.
     (g) Connect the exhaust air hose (25) to the pipe (27) and tighten the clamps (26).
     (h) Connect the fresh air hose (23) to the pipe (24) and tighten the clamp (22).
     (i) Put the cover (20) in position and install the screws (21).
   (5) Connect the electrical connections:

     (e) Put the cover (10) in position and tighten the screws (9).
     (f) TORQUE the screws (9) to between 0.10 and 0.08 m.daN (8.85 and 7.08 lbf.in )

   (3) Put the bumpers (5) in position and install the screws (6).
   (4) TORQUE the screws (6) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in ) T.
   (5) Clean the bumpers (5), the heads of the screws (6) and the adjacent area.
   (6) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (6) and the bumpers (5).
   (7) If the fillers (3) are removed, apply Double Sided Adhesive Tape-- Foam Base - (Material No.05PAC1) to the fillers (3) and install them.
   (8) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (1).
   (9) Put the wheel guides (4) in position, then install the washers (2) and the screws (1).
   (10) TORQUE the screws (1) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in ) T.
   (11) Clean the wheel guides (4), the heads of the screws (1) and the adjacent area.
   (12) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (1) and the wheel guides (4).
   (13) Apply Double Sided Adhesive Tape-- Foam Base - (Material No.05PAC1) to the kickstrip (10) and install it.
   (14) Apply Double Sided Adhesive Tape-- Foam Base - (Material No.05PAC1) to the kickstrip (9) and put it in position.
   (15) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the thread of the screw (8).
   (16) Install the washer (2) and the screw (8).
   (17) TORQUE the screw (8) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in ) T.
   (18) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.
05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (11).
   (19) Put the kickstrip (7) in position, then install the washers (12) and the screws (11).
   (20) TORQUE the screws (11) to between 0.17 and 0.14 m.daN (15.04 and 12.39 lbf.in ) T.
   (21) Clean the kickstrips (10), (9) and (7), the heads of the screws (8) and (11) and the adjacent area.
   (22) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) to the heads of the screws (8) and (11) and the kickstrips (10), (9) and (7).

     (b) Do the functional test of the applicable air-extraction point. Do not de-energize the electrical circuits when the test is completed (Ref. AMM TASK 21-23-00-720-002).
     (c) Turn the air outlet clockwise until it is in the closed position.
     (d) Make sure that no air comes out from the air outlet.
     (e) Examine all the air hoses and the connections for leaks.
Make sure that there are no leaks.
     (f) If you find leaks, repair them.
     (g) Turn the air outlet counterclockwise until it is in the open position.
     (h) Make sure that the intensity of the airflow changes when you turn the air outlet.
   (2) Do a check of the potable water system and the drain system as follows:

     (b) Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
     (c) Examine all the potable water hoses for leaks.

     (e) Operate the faucet and make sure that water flows.
     (f) Let the water flow until it is clean.
     (g) Examine all the waste water hoses for leaks.

       1 Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.
06CMD9) to the seal (17) and the floor interface.
     (j) Apply Double Sided Adhesive Tape-- Foam Base - (Material No.05PAC1) to the kick strip (16) and install it.
     (k) Clean the kick strip (16) and/or the adjacent areas.
     (l) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) to the kick strip (16).
   (2) Install the pelmets (3) and (1) as follows:
F Pelmets ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
     (a) Put the pelmets (3) and (1) in position.
     (b) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the threads of the screws (11).
     (c) Put the spacers (9) and the clamps (10) in position and install the washers (5) and the screws (11).
     (d) TORQUE the screws (11) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in ) T.
     (e) Connect the bonding straps (7) and (6) and install the washers (8) and (5) and the screw (4). Do the bonding (
Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (f) TORQUE the screw (4) to between 0.40 and 0.34 m.daN (35.40 and 30.09 lbf.in ) T.
     (g) Engage the quick connectors (2).

   (5) Install the ceiling panels and the door frame linings in the area of the galley (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-400-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-007).
   (6) If necessary, install the curtain rail(s) and the curtain(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-400-001).
   (7) Install all the items of non-electrical equipment in the galley.
   (8) If the contents of the galley are removed, install them.
   (9) Close all doors.
   (10) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.

   (6) If a cockpit door camera is installed, install the hinge-mount fitting (Ref. AMM TASK 53-16-11-400-001).
   (7) Install the contents which were removed from the galley, if necessary.
   (8) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
