(1) On closets with Claircom phones installed, clearly tag closet with the aircraft number and location.
(2) Open the doors (2).
(3) Remove the screws (8) and the cover (9).
(4) Disconnect electrical connectors as applicable:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (6) from the electrical socket (7).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Carefully pull the electrical connector (6) out of the rear of the stowage (1).
(5) Remove the screws (3) and the footrest (4).
(6) Remove the screws (16) and the covers (15).
(7) Remove the bolts (10) and the cover-plates (11).
(8) Remove the inner eccentric-bushes (12) and the outer eccentric-bushes (13).
(9) Remove the threaded bushes (14).
(10) Carefully lift the stowage (1) and remove it.
(11) Record the position of the seat-track fittings (17).
(12) Pull the synthetic fibre-cords and remove the sealant from the seat tracks (18) if installed.
(13) Remove the seat-track fittings (17) from the seat tracks (18).

(1) Open the door (2).
(2) Remove the screws (3) and the upper attachments (4).
(3) Remove the screws (11), the covers (10) and the shim plates (15).
(4) Record the number and the position of the shim plates (15).
(5) Remove the nuts (5), the washers (6) and the shim plates (7).
(6) Record the number and the position of the shim plates (7).
(7) Remove the inner eccentric-bushes (8), the outer eccentric-bushes (9), the floor cups (16) and the shim plates (17).
(8) Record the number and the position of the shim plates (17).
(9) Carefully lift the stowage (1) and remove it.
(10) Remove the shim plates (12) and record their number and their position.
(11) Record the position of the seat-track fittings (13) and remove them.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) In the cockpit:
(a) On panel 25VU, make sure that switch EMER EXIT LT 4WL is in the OFF position.
(2) On FAP 120RH:
(a) Make sure that switch LIGHT EMER is in the OFF position.
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on panels 25VU and 120RH, to tell persons
not to operate switches 4WL and LIGHT EMER.
Subtask 25-27-44-010-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) In the cockpit:
(a) On panel 25VU, make sure that switch EMER EXIT LT 4WL is in the OFF position.

C. Get Access
(1) Open all applicable doors to get access to the parts that you must remove/disconnect.
(2) Remove all the items of equipment from the stowage.
(3) Remove the related curtains and the curtain rails (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-001).

A. Removal of the Stowage 6579MM (1) On closets with Claircom phones installed, clearly tag closet with the aircraft number and location.
(2) Open the doors (2).
(3) Remove the screws (8) and the cover (9).
(4) Disconnect electrical connectors as applicable:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (6) from the electrical socket (7).
(b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Carefully pull the electrical connector (6) out of the rear of the stowage (1).
(5) Remove the screws (3) and the footrest (4).
(6) Remove the screws (16) and the covers (15).
(7) Remove the bolts (10) and the cover-plates (11).
(8) Remove the inner eccentric-bushes (12) and the outer eccentric-bushes (13).
(9) Remove the threaded bushes (14).
(10) Carefully lift the stowage (1) and remove it.
(11) Record the position of the seat-track fittings (17).
(12) Pull the synthetic fibre-cords and remove the sealant from the seat tracks (18) if installed.
(13) Remove the seat-track fittings (17) from the seat tracks (18).

(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) If applied, remove the sealant around the stowage (1).
(3) Remove the screws (12), the washers (13) and the bracket (11).
(4) Remove the screws (2) and the covers (3).
(5) Remove the screws (4), the washers (5) and the adjustment washers (6).
(6) Carefully lift the stowage (1) and remove it.
(7) If applicable, remove the sealant from the seat tracks.
(8) Remove the floor fittings (7), bushes (8), floor fittings (9) and seat track fittings (10).
(9) Remove the remaining sealant from all covers and screws with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.

(3) Remove the screws (3) and the upper attachments (4).
(4) Remove the screws (11), the covers (10) and the shim plates (16).
(5) Remove the nuts (5), the washers (6) and the shim plates (7).
(6) Remove the eccentric bushes (8) and (9).
(7) Remove the floor cups (17) and the shim plates (18).
CAUTION:
WHEN YOU MOVE A HEAVY COMPONENT, DO NOT PUSH IT ALONG THE CABIN FLOOR OR LET IT RUB AGAINST THE FLOOR. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABIN FLOOR AND/OR THE COMPONENT.
(8) Carefully remove the stowage (1). (9) Remove the shim plates (12), the spacers (13) and the seat-track fittings (14).
