B. Get Access
(1) Get access to the avionics compartment:
(a) Put a STEPLADDER 2.0 M (6.6 FT) in position.
(b) Open the avionics compartment door 811 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).

Subtask 25-27-34-020-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Control Unit 60DS and 66DS.
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Push the locking catch (5) and carefully move the control unit (6) out of the adapter assembly (7).
NOTE: The procedure for the control units are the same.
(1) Release the spring latches (3) , loosen the screws (4) and disconnect the electrical connectors (1) and (2). (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Push the locking catch (5) and carefully move the control unit (6) out of the adapter assembly (7).
