(a) Open the FWD cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(b) Set the CARGO COMPT light switch 6LU to ON.
(c) Remove the sidewall lining 132JW.
(2) FOR [14DS] (CTL UNIT-DOOR AREA HEATING)
(a) Open the AFT cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(b) Set the CARGO COMPT light switch 8LU to ON.
(c) Remove the sidewall lining 152FW.

B. Get Access
(1) FOR [14DS] (CTL UNIT-DOOR AREA HEATING)
(a) Open the aft cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(b) Set the CARGO COMPT light switch 8LU to ON.
(c) Remove the sidewall lining 152FW.

(1) FOR [60DS] (CTL UNIT-DOOR AREA HEATING), [66DS] (CTL UNIT-DOOR AREA HEATING)
(a) In the cockpit on the panel 50VU:

Push the P/B SW-AVIONICS/COMPT LT (23LS).

(b) Open the avionics compartment door 811 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).

C. Get Access
(1) FOR [60DS] (CTL UNIT-DOOR AREA HEATING), [66DS] (CTL UNIT-DOOR AREA HEATING)
(a) In the cockpit on the panel 50VU:

Push the P/B SW-AVIONICS/COMPT LT (23LS).

(b) If applicable, push the ON/OFF touch button on the flight attendant panel in ON position.
(c) Open the avionics compartment door 811 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).

1.On the related control unit: Push and hold the pushbutton HEATER TEST.	On the related control unit: The indicators come on.
2.Release the pushbutton HEATER TEST.	The indicators go off.

A. Close Access
(1) Put all CB and switches to the initial configuration.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) FOR [4DS] (CTL UNIT-DOOR AREA HEATING)
(a) Install the sidewall lining 132JW.
(b) Set the CARGO COMPT light switch 6LU to OFF.
(c) Close the FWD cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(4) FOR [14DS] (CTL UNIT-DOOR AREA HEATING)
(a) Install the sidewall lining 152FW.
(b) Set the CARGO COMPT light switch 8LU to OFF.
(c) Close the AFT cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

A. Close Access
(1) Put all CB and switches to the initial configuration.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
