PASSENGER ENTERTAINMENT - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
3. Job Set-up
Subtask 25-26-42-860-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that you removed all items of equipment from the partition.
   (3) Make sure that the curtain is removed if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-013).
   (4) Make sure that the adjacent filler panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-25-11-000-001).
   (5) If necessary, make sure that the display units are removed. Refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 23-33-00-00) to know which display units you must remove.

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-26-42-210-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the seat tracks with Non Aqueous Cleaner_- Methyl-Ethyl-Ketone - (Material No.08BBF1) , a cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
   (2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (4) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

B. Installation of the Partitions
F Class-Divider Partition ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
   (2) Put the seat-track fittings (17) in the seat tracks and install the stop washers (18) and the plates (16).
   (3) If necessary, apply sealant in the seat tracks (Ref. AMM TASK 25-20-00-914-801).
   (4) Make sure that the filler panel (2) is on the tubes (3).
WARNING: SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (5) Carefully put the partition (1) in position and make sure that it is in a vertical position.
   (6) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) to the screws (15) and install them.
   (7) Put the bonding strap (6) in position and install the washers (5), the screw (4) and the nut (7).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE BONDING STRAP(S) IS(ARE) CONNECTED BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE SPRING LATCHES CORRECTLY HOLD THE CONNECTOR IN THE FULLY ENGAGED POSITION. THE SPRING LATCHES PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE CONNECTOR, AND THUS THE RISK OF ARCING, WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.
   (8) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (10) Connect the electrical connectors (8) and (19) and engage the spring latches (14).
   (11) Put the cable (9) and the clamps (10) in position and install the washers (12) and the screws (11).
   (12) Install new CABLE TIES (13).
   (13) Install the filler panel (2).
   (14) Attach the carpet with Double Sided Adhesive Tape-Carpet Bonding - - (Material No.05PCB2) .

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Close Access
   (1) Install all items of equipment that you removed from the partition.
   (2) If you removed the curtain, install it (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-400-013).
   (3) Install the adjacent filler panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-25-11-400-001).
   (4) If you removed the display units, install them. Refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 23-33-00-00) to know which display units you must install.
   (5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (6) Make sure that all the placards of the retained/new component are in the correct position and in a good condition. If necessary install new placards (Ref. AMM TASK 11-00-00-400-007).
