Removal of a Partition (Zone 240-260)

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THIS EQUIPMENT. THIS EQUIPMENT IS HEAVY (MORE THAN 12 KG (26.5 lb)) AND CAN CAUSE INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
CAUTION:
WHEN YOU MOVE A HEAVY COMPONENT, DO NOT PUSH IT ALONG THE CABIN FLOOR OR LET IT RUB AGAINST THE FLOOR. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABIN FLOOR AND/OR THE COMPONENT.

B. Get Access
(1) Remove all items of equipment from the partition.
(2) If necessary, remove the adjacent Overhead Stowage Compartment (OHSC) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-000-001).
(3) Remove the related ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-000-002).
(4) Remove the curtains and the curtain rails (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-003).
(5) Remove the cabin attendant seats (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-41-000-001).
(6) Remove the related seats (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
Subtask 25-26-42-865-068-A (1) Remove all items of equipment from the partition.
(2) If necessary, remove the adjacent Overhead Stowage Compartment (OHSC) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-000-001).
(3) Remove the related ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-000-002).
(4) Remove the curtains and the curtain rails (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-003).
(5) Remove the cabin attendant seats (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-41-000-001).
(6) Remove the related seats (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).

A. Removal of the Partition
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the screws (10) and the covers (9).
(3) Remove the screws (13), the washers (12) and the slide blocks (11).
(4) Remove the screws (20), the washers (19) and the slide blocks (18).
(5) Remove the quick-release pins (4).
(6) Carefully remove the partitions (1).
(7) If necessary, remove the quick-release pins (2) and the tie rods (3).
(8) If necessary, remove the sealant from the seat tracks with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(9) Remove the slide blocks (5), washers (6), stoppers (7) and seat track fittings (8).
(10) Remove the slide blocks (14), washers (15), packings (16) and bushes (17).
(11) Discard the packings (16).

(9) Remove the slide blocks (5), washers (6), stoppers (7) and seat track fittings (8).
(10) Remove the slide blocks (14), washers (15), packings (16) and bushes (17).
(11) Discard the packings (16).
