Removal of the Partition (Zone 230)
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THIS EQUIPMENT. THIS EQUIPMENT IS HEAVY (MORE THAN 12 KG (26.5 lb)) AND CAN CAUSE INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
CAUTION:
WHEN YOU MOVE A HEAVY COMPONENT, DO NOT PUSH IT ALONG THE CABIN FLOOR OR LET IT RUB AGAINST THE FLOOR. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABIN FLOOR AND/OR THE COMPONENT.

B. Get Access
(1) Remove all items of equipment from the partition.
(2) Remove the curtain if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-013).
(3) Remove the adjacent filler panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-25-11-000-001).
(4) If necessary, remove the display units. Refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 23-33-00-00) to know which display units you must remove.

(2) Remove the curtain if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-013).
(3) Remove the adjacent filler panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-25-11-000-001).
(4) If necessary, remove the display units. Refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 23-33-00-00) to know which display units you must remove.

A. Removal of the Partitions
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Release the filler panel (2) and let it on the tubes (3).
(3) Cut, remove and discard the cable ties (13).
(4) Remove the screws (11), the washers (12) and the clamps (10) and release the cable (9).
(5) Release the spring latches (14) and disconnect the electrical connectors (8) and (19).
(6) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
(8) Lift the carpet as far as necessary to get access to the screws (15) and remove them.
(10) If applicable, remove the sealant from the seat tracks.
(11) Remove the plates (16), the stop washers (18) and the seat-track fittings (17).
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Release the filler panel (2) and let it on the tubes (3).
(3) Cut, remove and discard the cable ties (13).
(4) Remove the screws (11), the washers (12) and the clamps (10) and release the cable (9).
(5) Release the spring latches (14) and disconnect the electrical connectors (8) and (19).
(6) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE) DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING STRAP(S).
(7) Remove the screw (4), the nut (7), the washers (5) and the bonding strap (6). (8) Lift the carpet as far as necessary to get access to the screws (15) and remove them.
WARNING:
SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(9) Carefully remove the partition (1). (10) If applicable, remove the sealant from the seat tracks.
(11) Remove the plates (16), the stop washers (18) and the seat-track fittings (17).
