A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access doors 812 and 822.
(2) Make sure that the access doors 812 and 822 are open.
(3) In the avionics compartment, make sure that the access panel of the AC/DC emergency power center 106VU and BATTERY power center 105VU are open.
Subtask 24-62-55-865-051-A (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access doors 812 and 822.
(2) Make sure that the access doors 812 and 822 are open.
(3) In the avionics compartment, make sure that the access panel of the AC/DC emergency power center 106VU and BATTERY power center 105VU are open.

A. Installation of the Contactor
(2) TORQUE the two captive screws (2) to between 26.55 and 23.9 lbf.in (0.30 and 0.27 m.daN )

(3) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(5) Connect the connector (4) on the contactor (3).
Subtask 24-62-55-865-052-A CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE CONTACTOR LOCATING PIN IS CORRECTLY ENGAGED IN ITS RECESS LOCATED IN ONE POWER TERMINAL.
THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE LOCATING PIN WHEN YOU APPLY THE TORQUE.
(1) Put the contactor (3) on the tapped barrels (6) of the contactor base (5). (2) TORQUE the two captive screws (2) to between 26.55 and 23.9 lbf.in (0.30 and 0.27 m.daN )
. (3) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(5) Connect the connector (4) on the contactor (3).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Test of the DC Shed Essential Bus Contactor
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the DC ESS BUS SHED warning does not come into view.
(4) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
5. Close-up(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the DC ESS BUS SHED warning does not come into view.
(4) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) In the avionics compartment, close the access panels of the AC/DC emergency power center 106VU and the BATTERY power center 105VU.
(3) Close the access doors 812 and 822.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
